Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the crime thriller By Any Means directed by Elegance Bratton and starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Mark Wahlberg, David Strathairn, Nicole Beharie, LisaGay Hamilton,Ethan Embry, Josh Lucas, LaChanze and Giancarlo Esposito. The film’s original score is composed by Terence Blanchard (Malcolm X, BlacKkKlansman, Inside Man, The Woman King, 25th Hour, Perry Mason, Da 5 Bloods, Love & Basketball). A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music is expected to be released in the coming weeks by Lakeshore Records. AB Records has released the original title song written by Diane Warren and performed by David Kushner & The Isley Brothers last Friday and will release a separate album featuring more songs on September 18. Also opening wide is the action/horror movie Onslaught directed by Adam Wingard, written by Simon Barrett and starring Adria Arjona, Dan Stevens, Drew Starkey, Reginald VelJohnson, Eric Wareheim, Rebecca Hall, Michael Biehn and Alex Pereira. Matthew Pusti (aka Makeup and Vanity Set) (A Good Woman Is Hard to Find, The Girlfriend Experience) has composed the film’s original music. Scott Point Productions has released a soundtrack album for the crime thriller The Girl in the River. The album features the film’s original music composed by Max Aruj (Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, Man on Fire, Crawl, The Ice Road,Mech Cadets, iBoy, Lansky) & W. F. Smith Leithart (Dinner to Die For). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to the composers’ title track after the jump. The Girl in the River is written and directed by Brando Benetton and stars Devon Sawa, Maggie Grace, Tiffany Haddish and Ralph Macchio. The movie follows a seasoned criminologist and a forensic psychologist who are drawn to a remote town to investigate a child’s murder and her twin’s disappearance, only for the case to spiral into obsession as they race against time to catch a killer before it’s too late.

The full details of the soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Man on Fire have been revealed. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Max Aruj (Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, The Ice Road, Crawl, Mech Cadets, iBoy, Lansky, The Tank). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 30 by Netflix Music and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released the composer’s main titles track as a digital single last week. Man on Fire is developed by Kyle Killen based on the book series by A.J. Quinnell and stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Billie Boullet, Alice Braga, Bobby Cannavale, Scoot McNairy, Thomás Aquino,Billy Blanco Jr., Ismael Caneppele, Pâmela Germano, Ravel Cabral and Paul Ben-Victor. The 7-part action drama follows a Special Forces veteran haunted by his past and hunted by his enemies as he fights to keep a teenage girl alive on the deadly streets of Rio de Janeiro.
