Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the crime thriller By Any Means directed by Elegance Bratton and starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Mark Wahlberg, David Strathairn, Nicole Beharie, LisaGay Hamilton,Ethan Embry, Josh Lucas, LaChanze and Giancarlo Esposito. The film’s original score is composed by Terence Blanchard (Malcolm X, BlacKkKlansman, Inside Man, The Woman King, 25th Hour, Perry Mason, Da 5 Bloods, Love & Basketball). A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music is expected to be released in the coming weeks by Lakeshore Records. AB Records has released the original title song written by Diane Warren and performed by David Kushner & The Isley Brothers last Friday and will release a separate album featuring more songs on September 18.
