Also premiering on Wednesday is the Swedish Netflix original film Je m’appelle Agneta co-written and directed by Johanna Runevad and starring Eva Melander, Claes Månsson, Anne-Marie Ponsot, Jérémie Covillault, Björn Kjellman and Richard Forsgren. Karl Frid & Pär Frid (Pleasure, Wild Nights with Emily, Crimes of Passion: Death of a Loved One, Alena, All and Eva, Citizen Schein) have composed the movie’s original music. Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score last week when the comedy drama opened in Swedish theaters. Also premiering on Wednesday is the Spanish language Prime Video limited series The House of the Spirits (La casa de los espíritus) based on Isabel Allende’s bestselling book and starring Alfonso Herrera, Dolores Fonzi, Nicole Wallace, Fernanda Castillo and Antonia Zegers. The show’s original music is composed by Tomás Videla (Superhuman Body: World of Medical Marvels, Lucha: A Wrestling’s Tale). The drama, which tells the epic tale of a proud and passionate family, secret loves, and bloody revolution, will be available to stream exclusively on Prime Video.
Premiering on Thursday, April 30, is the Netflix original series Man on Fire developed by Kyle Killen based on A.J. Quinnell’s book series and starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Billie Boullet, Alice Braga, Bobby Cannavale, Thomás Aquino, Scoot McNairy, Billy Blanco Jr., Pâmela Germano and Paul Ben-Victor. Max Aruj (Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, The Ice Road, Lansky, Mech Cadets, Crawl, Screamer, iBoy, The Tank) has composed the film’s original music.
