David Fleming has won his second Emmy Award for his score for the episode Out History from the Apple TV original series Widow’s Bay in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Series category at tonight’s second night of the 78th Creative Prime Emmy Awards. Sean Callery received his fifth Emmy Award and Sara Barone was honored with her first Emmy in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Limited or Anthology Series, Movie or Special category for their score from the episode The Beast and Me of the Netflix limited series The Beast in Me. Dave Porter has won the Emmy Award for his theme for the Apple TV series Pluribus in the Outstanding Main Title Theme Music category.

Richard Reed Parry’s Sea Shanty ‘Last Man’ from ‘Widow’s Bay’ Released
Milan Records has released the original sea shanty from the seventh episode (entitled Seasickness) of the Apple TV original series Widow’s Bay. Available to stream/download on all major digital music services is The Last Man co-written (with Neil Casey who provided the lyrics) and performed by Arcade Fire’s Richard Reed Parry. Also listen to the song after the jump. The label has previously released a full soundtrack album featuring David Fleming’s original score from the first season of the show this past May. ‘Widow’s Bay’ Soundtrack Album Details
Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the Apple TV original series Widow’s Bay. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by David Fleming (Superman, The Last of Us, Eternity, Damsel, Anaconda, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Jim Henson: Idea Man, Americana, The Alto Knights). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 1 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Widow’s Bay is created by Katie Dippold and stars Matthew Rhys, Kate O’Flynn, Kevin Carroll, Stephen Root, Kingston Rumi Southwick and Dale Dickey. The 10-part horror comedy is set on the fictional titular island 40 miles off the New England coast, where something lurks beneath the surface and follows Widow’s Bay’s mayor who is desperate to revive his struggling community.
