David Fleming has won his second Emmy Award for his score for the episode Out History from the Apple TV original series Widow’s Bay in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Series category at tonight’s second night of the 78th Creative Prime Emmy Awards. Sean Callery received his fifth Emmy Award and Sara Barone was honored with her first Emmy in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Limited or Anthology Series, Movie or Special category for their score from the episode The Beast and Me of the Netflix limited series The Beast in Me. Dave Porter has won the Emmy Award for his theme for the Apple TV series Pluribus in the Outstanding Main Title Theme Music category.

The show is created by Vince Gilligan and stars Rhea Seehorn, Karolina Wydra, Carlos Manuel Vesga, Miriam Shor and Samba Schutte. The sci-fi drama revolves around the most miserable person on Earth who must save the world from happiness. Gilligan is also executive producing the Sony Pictures Television production with Gordon Smith, Alison Tatlock, Diane Mercer, Allyce Ozarski and Jeff Frost.

Echo is created by Marion Dayre based on the Marvel Comics character and stars Alaqua Cox, Chaske Spencer, Graham Greene, Vincent D’Onofrio, Tantoo Cardinal, Devery Jacobs, Zahn McClarno and Cody Lightning. The 5-parter follows the title character (aka Maya Lopez) as she is pursued by Wilson Fisk’s criminal empire and must confront her own family and legacy when the journey brings her home.

Joe Wong Scoring AMC’s ‘Lucky Hank’
Joe Wong (Russian Doll, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, Master of None, The Midnight Gospel, Kenan) has been tapped to score the new AMC original series Lucky Hank. The pilot episode is scored by Wong & Dave Porter (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, The Disaster Artist) and Wong is composing the music for the other seven episodes of the first season of the show created by Aaron Zelman (Resurrection) & Paul Lieberstein (The Office, Space Force) and starring Bob Odenkirk, Mireille Enos, Diedrich Bader, Olivia Scott Welch, Suzanne Cryer, Sara Amini and Cedric Yarbrough. The dramedy is set at Railton College and revolves around the unlikely chairman of the English department in a badly underfunded college in a working-class American town whose life starts to unravel, while his wife begins to question the path she’s on and the choices she’s made.
