Hollywood Records has released Marvel Strings, a new album featuring eight themes from the Marvel Universe arranged for string quartet and performed by The Orchid Quartet. Among the titles included are Michael Giacchino’s main theme from The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Son Lux’s Thunderbolts* title track, Laura Karpman’s Conspiracy Theme from Captain America: Brave New World, Leo Birenberg’s & Zach Robinson’s Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man title track, John Paesano’s & Braden Kimball’s main title theme from Daredevil, Christophe Beck’s Agatha’s Theme from Agatha All Along, Dara Taylor’s main theme from Ironheart, as well as Masahiro Aoki’s Login Theme from the video game MARVEL Rivals. ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Soundtrack Album Released
Sony Classical has released the full soundtrack album for Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost, Ratatouille, The Batman, Jurassic World, The Incredibles, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Doctor Strange, Star Trek) who has previously scored Spider-Man: Homecoming, Far from Home & No Way Home. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. A CD version will be coming out on September 18 and is now available for pre-order here. A first track (Suite New Day) has previously been released as a digital single earlier this month. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Tramell Tillman, Jon Bernthal, Michael Mando and Mark Ruffalo.

The cover art of the vinyl edition soundtrack album for Marvel Studios’ feature The Fantastic Four: First Steps has been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost, Jurassic World, The Batman, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange, Star Trek, The Incredibles, Ratatouille) and will be released as a 2-disc 12″ vinyl on October 17 by Hollywood Records & Marvel Music. Visit Amazon to pre-order the vinyl edition. The digital version of the soundtrack was released in July, a week prior to the movie’s release. Also out now is a 7-inch LP on translucent “Galactic Blue” vinyl featuring Giacchino’s theme, as well as the end credits song Let Us Be Devoured written and performed by Andrea Datzman (click here to order).

This past week, Son Lux (Everything Everywhere All at Once, The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby) have been recording their score for Marvel Studios’ upcoming feature Thunderbolts*. The film is directed by Jake Schreier (Beef, Robot & Frank) and stars Florence Pugh who reprises her role of Yelena Belova from Black Widow, as well as Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Olga Kurylenko, Wyatt Russell, Hannah John-Kamen and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
‘Agatha All Along’ Dave Audé Remix Released

Michael Giacchino has previewed his theme from Marvel Studios’ upcoming feature The Fantastic Four: First Steps at today’s Music of Marvel Studios panel at D23. The composer has already recorded his theme, which first made its debut at last month’s Comic-Con, prior to principal photography on the film, which just started on July 30 at Pinewood Studios in London. Laura Karpman to Score Marvel Studios’ ‘Captain America: Brave New World’
Laura Karpman (American Fiction, Set It Up, Lovecraft Country, Paris Can Wait, Taken, Why We Hate) has been tapped to score the upcoming superhero movie Captain America: Brave New World. The film is directed by Julius Onah (Luce, The Cloverfield Paradox) and stars Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, Harrison Ford, Shira Haas, Carl Lumbly, Xosha Roquemore ,Liv Tyler, Tim Blake Nelson and Giancarlo Esposito. The movie follows the title character who – after meeting with th newly elected U.S. President – finds himself in the middle of an international incident and must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot.
Alan Silvestri to Score Marvel Studios’ ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ & ‘Secret Wars’
Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Predator, Cast Away, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Polar Express) is attached to score Marvel Studios’ upcoming features Avengers: Doomsday & Avengers: Secret Wars. The films will be directed by Joe & Anthony Russo (Captain America: The Winter Soldier & Civil War) and star Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom/Victor Von Doom. No other casting announcements have been made yet. Stephen McFeely (The Chronicles of Narnia, Pain & Gain) is writing the screenplay for both installments. The Russos’ company, AGBO, is set to produce both films alongside Marvel Studios.
