Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the Swedish Netflix original film Je m’appelle Agneta. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Karl Frid & Pär Frid (Wild Nights with Emily, Pleasure, Crimes of Passion: Death of a Loved One, All and Eva, Alena, Citizen Schein). Je m’appelle Agneta is co-written and directed by Johanna Runevad and stars Eva Melander, Claes Månsson, Jérémie Covillault, Björn Kjellman, Anne-Marie Ponsot and Richard Forsgren. The comedy drama is based on the novel of the same title by Emma Hamberg and revolves around a middle-aged recently unemployed woman craving a fresh start who accepts an au pair gig in Provence that turns into an indulgent escape — and an unexpected awakening. The film is being released in Swedish theaters today and will premiere worldwide on April 29 on Netflix.
