Netflix Music has released the Good Day Sunshine Theme from the new Netflix limited series Eric. The theme song of the fiction children’s television show of the same name is written and produced by Tim Minchin (Matilda the Musical, Groundhog Day The Musical, Back to the Outback) and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the track after the jump. As previously reported, a full soundtrack album featuring Keefus Ciancia’s original score from the show has also been released today. Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the streamer’s new limited series Eric. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Keefus Ciancia (True Detective, Killing Eve, London Spy, Great Expectations, The Fall, Made for Love, Diana,The Motel Life). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 31. The show’s original score is composed by Toydrum (Slow Horses, Detour, Prevenge, Three Pines, Platform 7, The Banishing, Future World, Sweetheart). The Lightbox production, which reveals the untold stories of how the lives and careers of some of the world’s most iconic artists were influenced by this corner of London, is premiering in the U.S. on Hulu and in most international markets on Disney+.
Also premiering on Wednesday is the HBO original documentary Moviepass, Moviecrash directed by Muta’Ali about the rise and implosion of the theatrical movie subscription app as told through the eyes of the visionary co-founders. Max Aruj (Crawl, The Old Guard 2, The Ice Road, iBoy, The Tank, Mech Cadets, Lansky) has composed the film’s original music.
