The album features the film’s original score composed by Rob Simonsen (Foxcatcher, The Spectacular Now, Love, Simon, Nerve, Tully, (500) Days of Summer, The Front Runner). The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 2, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. The House of Tomorrow is written and directed by Peter Livolsi and stars Asa Butterfield, Ellen Burstyn, Nick Offerman, Alex Wolff, Maude Apatow and Michaela Watkins. The movie follows a teen raised inside a geodesic dome and a rebellious kid with a heart transplant who form a punk band to escape an oppressive grandmother, an overprotective father, and the looming legacy of renowned futurist Buckminster Fuller.
‘Miss Stevens’ Soundtrack to Be Released
Rob Simonsen (Love, Simon, (500) Days of Summer, The Age of Adaline, Nerve, Foxcatcher, The Spectacular Now) will release his original score for the indie comedy drama Miss Stevens. The album features composer’s music for the 2016 film co-written and directed by Julia Hart and starring Lily Rabe, Timothée Chalamet, Lili Reinhart, Anthony Quintal, Oscar Nuñez and Rob Huebel. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 28 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Miss Stevens revolves around a teacher who chaperones a group of high schoolers to a state drama competition.
Rob Simonsen Scoring Jason Reitman’s ‘The Front Runner’
Rob Simonsen is reteaming with director Jason Reitman on the upcoming biographical drama The Front Runner. The film stars Hugh Jackman, Vera Farming, J.K. Simmons, Mamoudou Athie, Josh Brener, Kaitlyn Dever, Tommy Dewey, Molly Ephraim, Spencer Garrett, Ari Graynor, Toby Huss, Mike Judge, Alex Karpovsky, Mark O’Brien, Sara Paxton, Kevin Pollak and Steve Zissis. The movie chronicles the rise and fall of Gary Hart, a charismatic U.S. Senator from Colorado, who was considered the frontrunner for the 1988 Democratic presidential nomination when his campaign was sidelined by the story of an extramarital relationship with Donna Rice.

Opening in most theaters is the thriller Bad Samaritan directed by Dean Devlin and starring David Tennant, Robert Sheehan, Kerry Condon, Carlito Olivero, Jacqueline Byers, Tracey Heggins and Robert P. Back Lot Music will release a soundtrack album for Jason Reitman’s comedy drama Tully. The album features the film’s original music composed by Rob Simonsen (Foxcatcher, (500) Days of Summer, Nerve, Love, Simon, The Spectacular Now). Also included is the original song Let You Go by Beulahbelle (Kaitlyn & Mady Dever) and the band’s cover of the Nancy Sinatra-performed by John Barry/Leslie Bricusse-written You Only Live Twice, as well as tracks by The Velvet Underground, Rufus Wainwright, The Jayhawks and Hamilton Leithauser + Rostam. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 4 and will be available to download on Amazon. Tully is directed by Reitman, written by Diablo Cody and stars Charlize Theron, Mackenzie Davis, Mark Duplass and Ron Livingston.
