A soundtrack album will be released for the 2014 indie coming-of-age comedy Chu & Blossom. The album features the film’s original music composed by Rob Simonsen (Love, Simon, Foxcatcher, Nerve, Tully, The Spectacular Now, The Front Runner, (500) Days of Summer). The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 12, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Chu & Blossom is directed by Charles Chu & Gavin Kellyand stars Chu himself, alongside Ryan O’Nan, Caitlin Stasey, Alan Cumming, Richard Kind, Melanie Lynskey, Chris Marquette, Annie Potts and Mercedes Ruehl. The movie centers on the unlikely brotherhood between a pensive, awkwardly tall Korean foreign exchange student and a militant performance artist, both trapped together in a small townThe comedy premiered at numerous film festivals in 2014 and is now available on VOD.
