Atlantic Records has released a new soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Nobody Wants This. The album features a selection of songs from the show’s third season, including the original track Say When by Megan Moroney, two previously unreleased demo recordings (Cold Blooded & You) from Miley Cyrus, as well as songs by Stella Lefty & Bailey Zimmerman, Cameron Whitcomb, Ellie Goulding, J Balvin, Elle Coves, Metric & others. Also included is a new score suite by series composer Duncan Blickenstaff (It Ends with Us, Hollywood Stargirl, Alex, Inc.). Duncan Blickenstaff (It Ends with Us, Hollywood Stargirl, Alex, Inc., Outmatched) has composed the original score for the new Netflix original series Nobody Wants This. The show is created by Erin Foster (Barely Famous) and stars Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, Tovah Feldshuh, Stephanie Faracy, Paul Ben-Victor, Michael Hitchcock and Jackie Tohn. Duncan Blickenstaff (Hollywood Stargirl, Alex, Inc., Maggie, Outmatched) is providing the original score for the new Hulu original series Reboot. The show is created by Steven Levitan (Modern Family) and stars Keegan-Michael Key, Judy Greer, Johnny Knoxville, Rachel Bloom, Paul Reiser, Calum Worthy and Krista Marie Yu. The comedy revolves around a dysfunctional cast of an early 2000s sitcom that is forced back together and must deal with their unresolved issues in today’s fast-changing world.

He co-scored the pilot with Rob Simonsen (Ghostbusters: Afterlife, The Way Back, The Spectacular Now, Foxcatcher, The Adam Project, Love, Simon) and wrote the music for the rest of the first season of the show created by Justin Adler & Maggie Mull and starring Rebecca Rittenhouse, David Del Rio, Nichole Sakura, Angelique Cabral, Leonardo Nam, Chloe Bridges, Ray Ford, Kerri Kenney and Chris Elliott. The comedy follows a psychic who is struggling with her own future, despite her ability to read everyone else’s young, and whose life is forever changed when she has a prediction she didn’t see coming.

The full details of the soundtrack album for the Disney+ original movie Hollywood Stargirl have been revealed. The album features the songs from the film performed by lead actress Grace VanderWaal and other cast members, including the original songs Figure It Out co-written by VanderWaal herself and Heaven Knows written by the show’s executive music producer Michael Penn (Girls), as well as covers of Blondie’s Dreaming, Brian Wilson’s Love and Mercy and Cass Elliot’s Make Your Own Kind of Music. Also included is the original song Miracle Mile written by Penn and performed by Z Berg, a cover of Penn’s No Myth performed by Jasmine Ash & Peter Adams, as well as the movie’s original score composed by Rob Simonsen (Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Love, Simon, The Way Back, The Adam Project, Nerve, The Age of Adeline) and Duncan Blickenstaff (Alex, Inc., LA to Vegas). The show’s original music is composed by Matthew Head (P-Valley, Boomerang, The Family Business). The series, which is inspired by the Tom Swift book series and revolves around the title character who was introduced in the network’s Nancy Drew, will air every Tuesday on the CW.
Premiering in the U.S. on Thursday, June 2, is the British drama This Is Going to Hurt created by Adam Kay based on his book of the same name and starring Ben Whishaw, Hannah Onslow, Ambika Mod, Michele Austin, Rosie Akerman and Andreea Paduraru. JARV IS…, led by Jarvis Cocker (of Pulp), have composed the film’s original music. Rough Trade Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the artist’s score and songs earlier this year.
