Duncan Blickenstaff (Hollywood Stargirl, Alex, Inc., Outmatched) has composed the original score for the new Hulu original series Maggie. He co-scored the pilot with Rob Simonsen (Ghostbusters: Afterlife, The Way Back, The Spectacular Now, Foxcatcher, The Adam Project, Love, Simon) and wrote the music for the rest of the first season of the show created by Justin Adler & Maggie Mull and starring Rebecca Rittenhouse, David Del Rio, Nichole Sakura, Angelique Cabral, Leonardo Nam, Chloe Bridges, Ray Ford, Kerri Kenney and Chris Elliott. The comedy follows a psychic who is struggling with her own future, despite her ability to read everyone else’s young, and whose life is forever changed when she has a prediction she didn’t see coming.

‘Maggie’ Soundtrack Released
Varese Sarabande has released a soundtrack album for the zombie thriller Maggie. The album features the film’s original music composed by David Wingo (Mud, Take Shelter, All the Real Girls, The Sitter). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Maggie is directed by Henry Hobson and stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Abigail Breslin and Joely Richardson. The movie follows a father who has to save his infected daughter when a deadly zombie virus sweeps the nation.

Two new movies are opening nationwide this weekend;
Opening in most theaters is the action comedy Hot Pursuit directed by Anne Fletcher and starring Reese Witherspoon, Sofia Vergara and Michael Mosley. The film’s original music is composed by Christophe Beck (Frozen, Ant-Man, Edge of Tomorrow, The Hangover) who previously collaborated with Fletcher on her last feature The Guilt Trip. No soundtrack album has been announced, but Sony Music has released the original song Two of a Crime by Miranda Lambert from the film. Visit Amazon to download the track. Also opening wide is the comedy The D Train written and directed by Andrew Mogel & Jarrad Paul and starring Jack Black, James Marsden, Kathryn Hahn, Kyle Bornheimer and Adria Tennor. Andrew Dost has composed the film’s original music. David Wingo Scoring ‘Maggie’ and Jeff Nichols’ ‘Midnight Special’
David Wingo has signed on to score the upcoming zombie thriller Maggie . The film is directed by Henry Hobson and stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Abigail Breslin and Joely Richardson. The movie centers on a farm family who helps their eldest daughter come to terms with her infection as she slowly becomes a flesh-eating zombie as a virus spreads across the country. John Scott 3 has written the Black List-honored script. Schwarzenegger is also producing the project with Pierre-Ange Le Pogam (Colombiana, Hitman), Matt Baer (City by the Sea, View from the Top), Trevor Kaufman, Colin Bates and Joey Tufaro.
