Premiering on Wednesday, July 22, is the National Geographic event series Pompeii: Out of Time hosted by Tom Hiddleston, directed by Tom Barbor-Might (who also serves as the project’s showrunner and director), Grant Mansfield, Kevin R. Wright, Helen Flint, Alan Eyres and Carolyn Payne. The show’s original music is composed by Aisling Brouwer (The Buccaneers, White Riot, Lioness: The Nicola Adams Story). Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score on July 24. Premiering on Thursday, July 23, is the HBO Max original series Stuart Fails to Save the Universe created by Chuck Lorre, Zak Penn & Bill Prady and starring Kevin Sussman, Lauren Lapkus, Brian Posehn and John Ross Bowie. Joseph LoDuca ( Xena: Warrior Princess, The Evil Dead, Spartacus, Chucky, The Librarians, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Leverage) is composing the show’s original score and Danny Elfman (Spider-Man, Batman, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Alice in Wonderland, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Beetlejuice) has provided the main title theme music.
