Premiering on Wednesday, July 22, is the National Geographic event series Pompeii: Out of Time hosted by Tom Hiddleston, directed by Tom Barbor-Might (who also serves as the project’s showrunner and director), Grant Mansfield, Kevin R. Wright, Helen Flint, Alan Eyres and Carolyn Payne. The show’s original music is composed by Aisling Brouwer (The Buccaneers, White Riot, Lioness: The Nicola Adams Story). Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score on July 24. Premiering on Thursday, July 23, is the HBO Max original series Stuart Fails to Save the Universe created by Chuck Lorre, Zak Penn & Bill Prady and starring Kevin Sussman, Lauren Lapkus, Brian Posehn and John Ross Bowie. Joseph LoDuca ( Xena: Warrior Princess, The Evil Dead, Spartacus, Chucky, The Librarians, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Leverage) is composing the show’s original score and Danny Elfman (Spider-Man, Batman, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Alice in Wonderland, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Beetlejuice) has provided the main title theme music. Premiering on Friday, July 24, is the Netflix original film 72 Hours directed by Tim Story and starring Kevin Hart, Marcello Hernández, Mason Gooding, Kam Patterson, Teyana Taylor, Ben Marshall, Kevin Dunn, Zach Cherry and Andy Garcia. The movie’s original music is composed by Christopher Lennertz (The Boys, Sausage Party, Lost in Space, Agent Carter, Back in Action, Baywatch, Identity Thief, Ride Along, Think Like a Man, Smurfs: The Lost Village, Supernatural).
