Aisling Brouwer (The Buccaneers, White RiotLioness: The Nicola Adams Story) is the composer of the upcoming National Geographic event series Pompeii: Out of Time. The 3-part docudrama is hosted by Tom Hiddleston and follows the actor – guided by a team of archaeologists, historians, geologists and disaster experts – as he uncovers remarkable evidence – and the stories of real people that challenge long-held assumptions about Pompeii and its final hours – not least revealing that many of those caught up in the disaster had the chance to survive. Tom Barbor-Might (Becoming You) serves as the project’s showrunner and director. He is also executive producing the Plimsoll production with Grant Mansfield (Hostile Planet, Big Beasts), Kevin R. Wright (Loki), Helen Flint (The Wheel of Time, Patrick Melrose) and Alan Eyres (Skyscraper Live) and Carolyn Payne (Hurricane Katrina: Race Against Time, Disaster: The Chernobyl Meltdown). A soundtrack album featuring Brouwer’s score will be released on July 24 by Hollywood Records. Pompeii: Out of Time will premiere on July 23 on Disney+ and Hulu.

Brouwer is also expected to return to co-score the third season of Apple TV’s The Buccaneers (as part of AVAKWAVES).
