Hollywood Records will release the official soundtrack album for the National Geographic event series Pompeii: Out of Time with Tom Hiddleston. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Aisling Brouwer (The Buccaneers, White Riot, The Mad Dog of Europe, Lioness: The Nicola Adams Story). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, July 24 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The 3-part docudrama follows the actor – guided by a team of archaeologists, geologists, historians, and disaster experts – as he uncovers remarkable evidence – and the stories of real people that challenge long-held assumptions about Pompeii and its final hours.

The 3-part docudrama is hosted by Tom Hiddleston and follows the actor – guided by a team of archaeologists, historians, geologists and disaster experts – as he uncovers remarkable evidence – and the stories of real people that challenge long-held assumptions about Pompeii and its final hours – not least revealing that many of those caught up in the disaster had the chance to survive. Tom Barbor-Might (Becoming You) serves as the project’s showrunner and director.

Aisling Brouwer (White Riot, Lioness: The Nicola Adams Story) & Anna Phoebe (Savage Waters) (aka AVAWAVES) are the composers of the upcoming British Apple TV+ original series The Buccaneers. The show is created by Katherine Jakeways and stars Kristine Frøseth, Alisha Boe, Josie Totah, Christina Hendricks, Imogen Waterhouse, Aubri Ibrag, Mia Threapleton, Guy Remmers, Josh Dylan, Matthew Broome and Barney Fishwick. The 8-part drama is inspired by Edith Wharton’s unfinished final novel of the same title and follows a group of fun-loving young American girls who explode into the tightly corseted London season of the 1870s, kicking off an Anglo-American culture clash.
