The show is created by Daniel Stiepleman (On the Basis of Sex, Out of My Mind) & Jonathan Wakeham (To Catch a Killer, Midas Man) inspired by the memoir Debriefing the President by CIA analyst John Nixon and stars Joel Kinnaman, Waleed Zuaiter, Lena Góra, Tom Berenger, Rebecca Night, Paul Ryan, Christopher McDonald, Matt Barr, Dar Salim, Ewan Miller and Talia Balsam. The 8-part political thriller tells the story of Nixon, the first CIA officer to interrogate Saddam Hussein following his capture in December 2003, who is forced to confront the far-reaching consequences of the U.S. invasion of Iraq and the ramifications that would reverberate around the world for decades to come.

Joseph LoDuca Scoring TNT’s ‘The Librarians: The Next Chapter’
Joseph LoDuca (The Evil Dead, Xena: Warrior Princess, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Chucky, Spartacus: Blood and Sand) is returning to score the new TNT original series The Librarians: The Next Chapter. The spinoff of the Librarians television and film franchise created by David Titcher stars Callum McGowan, Jessica Green, Olivia Morris and Bluey Robinson. Christian Kane is reprising his role as Jacob Stone in a guest starring role. The show centers on a “Librarian” from the past who returns to his castle in Belgrade, Serbia as he finds himself stuck in the present and inadvertently releases magic across the continent when he discovers that his former residence is now a museum.

WaterTower Music will release a new soundtrack album for the TNT original series Animal Kingdom. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s sixth and final season composed by Alexis Marsh & Samuel Jones (We’ll Never Have Paris, Equity, Next Gen, Lila & Eve). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, August 26 and will be available to stream/download here. The label has previously released two soundtrack albums featuring the composers’ score from Seasons 1-4 and Season 5 last year. Animal Kingdom is developed by Jonathan Lisco based on David Michod’s 2009 movie of the same title and stars Shawn Hatosy, Ben Robson, Jake Weary, Finn Cole and Leila George.

The new season stars Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Sean Bean, Rowan Blanchard, Alison Wright, Mickey Sumner, Iddo Goldberg, Katie McGuinness, Lena Hall, Annalise Basso, Sam Otto, Roberto Urbina, Sheila Vand and Steven Ogg.
