Plaza Mayor Company has released a soundtrack album for the Italian/Belgian horror thriller Flowing (Piove). The album features the film’s original music composed by Raf Keunen (Bullhead, The Spy, Racer and the Jailbird, Over Water, Just a Sigh). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Flowing is co-written and directed by Paolo Strippoli and stars Fabrizio Rongione, Cristiana Dell’Anna, Aurora Menenti, Francesco Gheghi and Leon De La Vallée. The movie is set in a bleak version of Rome, where muted violence seems constantly on the verge of breaking out and people transform into murderous monsters when it rains.

‘Laetitia’ Soundtrack Album Released
MSA Records has released a soundtrack album for the French limited series Laetitia. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Raf Keunen (Bullhead, Racer and the Jailbird, The Spy, Over Water, Just a Sigh). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music stores. Laetitia is co-written and directed by Academy Award winner Jean-Xavier de Lestrade (The Staircase) and stars Marie Colomb, Sophie Breyer, Yannick Choirat, Sam Karmann, Kevin Azïas and Noam Morgensztern. The 6-part drama chronicles the disappearance of a teenage girl in western France – and how a single act of violence impacted an entire country.
‘Over Water’ Season 2 Soundtrack Released
VRT MZK has released a new soundtrack album for the Flemish TV series Over Water. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Raf Keunen (Bullhead, Racer and the Jailbird, Just a Sigh). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. A soundtrack featuring Daniel Hart’s score from the first season of the show has previously been released last year. Over Water is written by Tom Lenaerts & Paul Baeten Gronda and stars Tom Dewispelaere, Tom Van Dyck, Natali Broods, Ruth Becquart, Kevin Janssens and Jeroen Perceval.
‘The Room’ Soundtrack Released

Racer and the Jailbird is co-written and directed by Roskam and stars Matthias Schoenaerts and Adèle Exarchopoulos. The movie is set against the background of a brutal crime gang in Brussels and focuses on the relationship between a high-flying gangster and a young racing driver with very upper-class root.

Three new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the thriller Bad Samaritan directed by Dean Devlin and starring David Tennant, Robert Sheehan, Kerry Condon, Carlito Olivero, Jacqueline Byers, Tracey Heggins and Robert P. Nagle. The film’s original music is composed by Joseph LoDuca (The Evil Dead, Xena: Warrior Princess, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Ash vs Evil Dead). Also opening wide is the romantic comedy Overboard directed by Rob Greenberg & Bob Fisher and starring Eugenio Derbez, Anna Faris, Eva Longoria, John Hannah and Cecilia Suarez. Lyle Workman (The 40-Year Old Virgin, Superbad, Love, Crashing, Forgetting Sarah Marshall) has composed the film’s original score. Raf Keunen Scoring ‘Racer and the Jailbird’
Raf Keunen is reuniting with director Michael Roskam (The Drop) on the upcoming crime drama Racer and the Jailbird. The film starring Matthias Schoenaerts and Adèle Exarchopoulos is set against the background of a brutal crime gang in Brussels and centers on a gangster who meets and falls for a young racing driver with very upper-class roots. Roskam also wrote the screenplay with Thomas Bidegain (A Prophet, Rust and Bone) and Noé Debré (Dheepan). Bart Van Langendonck (The Ardennes) is producing the project for Savage Film, alongside Pierre-Ange Le Pogam (Hitman, Grace of Monaco) for Stone Angels.

Two new movies opening nationwide this weekend:
Expected to top the weekend box office is the biblical epic Noah directed by Darren Aronofsky and starring Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Ray Winstone, Emma Watson, Anthony Hopkins and Logan Lerman. Clint Mansell who previously scored all of the director’s features including Requiem for a Dream, The Fountain, Pi, Black Swan and The Wrestler has composed the film’s original music. Nonesuch Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the score by the composer who collaborated with the Kronos Quartet on the project. Also opening wide is the action thriller Sabotage directed by David Ayer and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Olivia Williams, Mireille Enos, Sam Worthingtonq, Harold Perrineau, Terrence Howard, Joe Manganiello, Max Martini and Josh Holloway. The film’s original score is composed by David Sardy (21, Zombieland, Premium Rush) who previously collaborated with Sardy on 2012’s End of Watch. No soundtrack album has been announced. Sabotage follows an elite DEA task force that takes on the world’s deadliest drug cartels. The movie is being released by Open Road Films. Raf Keunen Scoring Michael Roskam’s ‘Animal Rescue’
Raf Keunen is reteaming with director Michael R. Roskam to score the upcoming crime thriller Animal Rescue. The film stars Tom Hardy, Noomi Rapace, Matthias Schoenaerts, James Gandolfini and John Ortiz. The movie is based on a short story by Dennis Lehane (Mystic River, Gone Baby Gone, Shutter Island) and follows a lonely Boston bartender who rescues a puppy from a garbage can and becomes the target of the dog’s abusive and mentally unstable former owner. Lehane has also written the screenplay and Peter Chernin & Dylan Clark (Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Oblivion) are producing the project for Chernin Entertainment, alongside Mike Larocca. Keunen has previously collaborated with Roskam on his previous directorial effort Bullhead.
