Hollywood Records has released a new soundtrack album for the animated series American Dad!. The album features a selection of the original songs from the show written by Walter Murphy (Family Guy, Ted), among other composers/songwriters, and performed by the voice cast throughout the animated comedy’s extensive run. First Soundtrack Album for TBS/Adult Swim’s ‘Final Space’ to Be Released
WaterTower Music will release the first soundtrack album for the TBS/Adult Swim animated series Final Space. The album features the original music from the show’s first season composed by Shelby Merry, Jake Sidwell and Andrew Goodwin. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 11 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music services. Final Space is created by Olan Rogers and features the voices of Rogers himself, Fred Armisen, Tom Kenny, David Tennant, Tika Sumpter, Steven Yeun, Coty Galloway, Caleb McLaughlin, Ron Perlman, John DiMaggio, Gina Torres, Shannon Purser, Keith David, Andy Richter, Conan O’Brien, Ashly Burch, Claudia Black, Ron Funches and Jane Lynch.

Premiering on Tuesday, February 12 is the TBS original series Miracle Workers created by Simon Rich based on his book What in God’s Name and starring Daniel Radcliffe, Steve Buscemi, Geraldine Viswanathan and Karan Soni. No composer is credited on the show. Rob Hill serves as the project’s music supervisor. Soundtrack Album for TBS’ ‘The Guest Book’ Released
CBS Studios and Turner Entertainment have released the first soundtrack album for the TBS comedy The Guest Book. The album features the original and cover songs from the show’s first season performed by honeyhoney. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The Guest Book is created by Greg Garcia and stars Charlie Robinson, Carly Jibson, Lou Wilson and Kellie Martin. The series centers on the lives of the employees and visitors to a group of rental cottages in the small mountain town of Mount Trace.

Joseph Stephens Scoring ‘Arizona’
Joseph Stephens is composing the score for the upcoming comedy Arizona. The film marks the directorial debut of Jonathan Watson and stars Danny McBride, Rosemarie DeWitt, Luke Wilson, Lolli Sorenson, Elizabeth Gillies and Kaitlin Olson. The movie is set in the midst of the 2009 housing crisis and follows a single mom and struggling realtor whose life goes off the rails when she witnesses a murder. Luke Del Tredici (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) wrote the screenplay.

Premiering tomorrow, November 21, is the new TBS original series Search Party created by Sarah-Violet Bliss & Charles Roger and starring Alia Shawkat, John Early, John Reynolds, Meredith Hagner and Brandon Micheal Hall. The show’s original music is composed by Brian H. Kim (Hello, My Name is Doris, Significant Mother, G.B.F.). The comedy follows four self-absorbed twenty-somethings who become entangled in an ominous mystery when a former college acquaintance suddenly disappears. Premiering on Friday, November 11, is the Netflix original movie True Memoirs of an International Assassin directed by Jeff Wadlow and starring Kevin James, Zulay Henao, Andy Garcia, Maurice Compte, Kelen Coleman, Andrew Howard, Rob Riggle, Leonard Earl Howze, Yul Vazquez and Kim Coates. The film’s original music is composed by Ludwig Goransson (Creed, Community, Fruitvale Station, New Girl, Central Intelligence). The comedy follows a mild-mannered would-be author who gets mistaken for a killer-for-hire when his fictional novel about an international assassin is published as a true story. The movie will be available to stream on Friday on Netflix.
Also premiering on Friday is the sci-fi adventure comedy MECH-X4 created by Steve Marmel and starring Nathaniel Potvin, Raymond Cham, Kamran Lucas, Pearce Joza and Alyssa Jirrels. Tim Wynn (The Starving Games, Superfast!, Warhawk video game) is composing the show’s original music. The series follows a freshman at Bay City High who mysteriously awakens MECH-X4, a giant robot built to defend Bay City against impending doom. The comedy will premiere this Friday on the Disney Channel.

Premiering today in the U.S. is the British/French TV series The Tunnel based on the Scandinavian drama The Bridge and starring Stephen Dillane and Clémence Poésy. The drama follows two detectives working together to find a serial killer who left the upper-half body of a French politician and the lower-half of a British prostitute in the Channel Tunnel.
