KOLARecords will release a soundtrack album for the TBS original series The Detour. The album features the music from the first season of the show composed by Rob Kolar, including both score and original songs written for the comedy. The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 30, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. The Detour is created by Jason Jones & Samantha Bee and stars Jones himself, alongside Natalie Zea, Ashley Gerasimovich, Liam Carroll, Daniella Pineda and Mary Grill. The show centers on a husband and father who takes his family on a road trip.

Ludwig Goransson & Nathan Matthew David Scoring TBS’ ‘Angie Tribeca’ Season 2
Ludwig Goransson and Nathan Matthew David are the new composers of the TBS original series Angie Tribeca. The composers are scoring the second season of the show created by Steve & Nancy Carell and starring Rashida Jones, Hayes MacArthur, Jere Burns, Deon Cole and Andree Vermeulen. The comedy follows a 10-year veteran of the Los Angeles Police Department’s elite RHCU (Really Heinous Crimes Unit) and a squad of committed LAPD detectives investigators as they solve various crimes. Steve and Nancy Carell are also executive producing the project with Thom Hinkle and Campbell Smith.

Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, Gladiator, The Lion King) and Lorne Balfe (Home, Penguins of Madagascar) have composed the music for the 12-parter. John Nordstrom Scoring TBS’ ‘Your Family or Mine’
John Nordstrom is composing the score for the upcoming TBS original comedy Your Family or Mine. The show is created by Greg Malins (Ground Floor, How I Met Your Mother, Friends) and stars Kat Foster, Kyle Howard, Richard Dreyfuss, JoBeth Williams, Ed Begley Jr. and Stephanie Hunt. The series based on the Israeli sitcom from Keshet International focuses on a different side of young couple’s family each week. Malins is also executive producing the Sony Pictures Television production with Jamie Tarses (Happy Endings, Franklin & Bash), Rubi Duanias, Yaniv Polishuk, Avi Nir & Ran Telem and Tamira Yarden.

This past Saturday, the new comedy drama series The Wedding Band premiered on TBS. The show executive produced by Darin Moiselle & Josh Lobis and Mike Tollin (Radio, Summer Catch) stars Brian Austin Green, Derek Miller, Harold Perrineau, Peter Cambor, Jenny Wade, Kathryn Fiore and Melora Hardin. The series follows four friends who, despite their ups and downs, spend their spare time performing in a wedding band. The show’s score is composed by Blake Neely (Arrow, The Mentalist) and Nathaniel Blume. Adam Schlesinger (Music and Lyrics) serves as the project’s music producer. The first season of ten episode will air Saturday nights on TBS.
