Film Fest Gent has announced three new albums to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the World Soundtrack Awards. Debbie Wiseman – Music for Film features all-new studio recordings of selected suites and pieces from the 2025 World Soundtrack Awards guest of honor’s film and television scores, performed by the Brussels Philharmonic and conducted by Film Fest Gent music director Dirk Brossé. Among the titles featured on the album are Wilde, Father Brown, Wolf Hall, a a suite from Lewis Gilbert’s Haunted, several pieces from Jean-Paul Salomé’s Arsène Lupin and first-time re-recordings from her scores for Edie and To Olivia. Also included are two previously unreleased pieces: Accession 2023 written for BBC’s coverage of The Coronation of TM The King and Queen Camilla and a suite from Andrew Davies’ television adaptation of He Knew He Was Right, as well as Wiseman’s piano solo performance of Viv and Maurice from Brian Gilbert’s Tom & Viv.

Premiering on Wednesday, March 26, is the Apple TV+ original anthology series Side Quest based on the streamer’s Mythic Quest and starring Rob McElhenney, Annamarie Kasper, Esai Morales, Shalita Grant, Rome Flynn, Bria Henderson, Ramon Reed, William Stanford Davis and Leonard Robinson. Takeshi Furukawa (Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Last Guardian, Planet of Lana) has composed the show’s original music. ‘Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light’ Soundtrack Album Details
Silva Screen Records will release a soundtrack album for the BBC/PBS Masterpiece series Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed and conducted by Debbie Wiseman (Wilde, Dickensian, Adventures of Arsene Lupin, Vampire Killers, Father Brown, Haunted, Flood) and performed by The Locrian Ensemble of London. ‘Arsène Lupin’ 20th Anniversary Expanded Edition Soundtrack Album Announced
Music Box Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 2004 French adventure crime movie Arsène Lupin co-written and directed by Jean-Paul Salomé and starring Romain Duris, Kristin Scott Thomas, Pascal Greggory, Eva Green, Robin Renucci and Patrick Toomey. The 2-CD set features the remastered expanded original score from the film composed, orchestrated and conducted by Debbie Wiseman (Wilde, Wolf Hall, Dickensian, Vampire Killers, Haunted, Father Brown, Flood) and performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Crouch End Festival Chorus, including around an hour of previously unreleased music. The 20th Anniversary soundtrack is limited to 500 copies and now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the release.

The show is directed by Peter Kosminsky, adapted for television by Peter Straughan (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Frank) and stars Mark Rylance, Damian Lewis, Kate Phillips, Jonathan Pryce, Lilit Lesser, Harriet Walter, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Harry Melling, Timothy Spall, Alex Jennings and Charlie Rowe. The 6-part series is based on the final novel in Hilary Mantel’s trilogy and traces the final four years of Thomas Cromwell’s life, completing his journey from self-made man to the most feared, influential figure of his time.
Official Coronation Album Released
Decca Classics has released the official album of The Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III & Queen Camilla. The album produced by Anna Barry features all the music from the historic ceremony recorded this past Saturday, May 6, at Westminster Abbey, including the newly composed pieces of music (six orchestral commissions, five choral commissions and one organ commission). Among the the commissions are pieces by film/TV composers Patrick Doyle (Sense and Sensibility, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Cinderella, Henry V), Debbie Wiseman (Wilde, Wolf Hall, Vampire Killers, Adventures of Arsene Lupin) and Nigel Hess (Maigret, Ladies in Lavender).

Debbie Wiseman Scoring Channel 4’s & Peacock’s ‘The Undeclared War’
Debbie Wiseman (Wilde, Vampire Killers, Adventures of Arsene Lupin, Dickensian, Haunted, Floos) is currently recording her score for the upcoming Channel 4 & Peacock limited series The Undeclared War. The show is directed and co-written by Peter Kosminsky (White Oleander) and stars Mark Rylance, Simon Pegg, Adrian Lester, Alex Jennings, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Hannah Khalique-Brown. The 6-part thriller is set in a post-pandemic 2024 in the run up to a British general election and tracks a leading team of analysts secretly working to ward off a cyber-attack on the country’s electoral system.
‘To Olivia’ Soundtrack Released
Decca Classics has released a soundtrack album for the British biographical drama To Olivia. The album features the film’s original music composed by Debbie Wiseman (Wilde, Wolf Hall, Vampire Killers, Adventures of Arsene Lupin). To Olivia is directed by John Hay and stars Keeley Hawes, Hugh Bonneville and Sam Heughan.
