Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the AMC original anthology series Tales of the Walking Dead. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Daniel Wohl (Project Blue Book, On the Come Up, Search Party, They’ll Love Me When I’m Dead, The Weekend Away, STEVE! (martin) a documentary in 2 pieces, The Stand In) & Morgan Kibby (Grotesquerie, Mothering Sunday, The Watcher, Queens, The Power, Girls of the Sun, Wilderness, Grand Army) who each scored three of the six episodes. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 22 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Gimple & Channing Powell and tells six standalone stories within The Walking Dead universe that feature both new and established characters.

Composer Daniel Wohl (Project Blue Book, On the Come Up, Search Party,The Weekend Away, The Stand In) is reuniting with director Morgan Neville (Won’t You Be My Neighbor, 20 Feet from Stardom) on the new Netflix original documentary Breakdown: 1975. The film is narrated by Jodie Foster and centers on the year 1975 as America faced social and political upheaval and filmmakers turned chaos into art. The movie explores how a turbulent era gave rise to iconic movies such as One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Taxi Driver and Network.

Composer Daniel Wohl (Project Blue Book, Search Party, On the Come Up, The Weekend Away, The Stand In) is reuniting with director Morgan Neville (Won’t You Be My Neighbor, 20 Feet from Stardom) on the upcoming Apple TV+ documentary STEVE! (martin) a documentary in 2 pieces. The 2-part film tells the actor/comedian/writer/musician’s story from two distinct points of view: Then chronicles his early struggles and meteoric rise to revolutionize stand-up before walking away at 35; and Now focuses on the present day, with Martin in the golden years of his career, retracing the transformation that led to happiness in his art and personal life.

Premiering in the U.S. is the British limited series The Gold written by Neil Forsyth and starring Hugh Bonneville, Jack Lowden, Tom Cullen, Dominic Cooper, Charlotte Spencer, Emun Elliott, Sean Harris, Stefanie Martini and Ellora Torchia. The show’s original music is composed by Simon Goff. Silva Screen Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score earlier this year when the drama premiered in the UK on BBC One. Premiering on Tuesday, September 19, is the Netflix original documentary The Saint of Second Chances directed by Morgan Neville and narrated by Jeff Daniels. Daniel Wohl (Project Blue Book, On the Come Up, The Weekend Away, Tales of the Walking Dead, Search Party, They’ll Love Me When I’m Dead) has composed the film’s original score. The movie, which follows Mike Veeck on his journey to redeem himself after he blew up the career of his hustler father, Hall of Fame baseball owner Bill Veeck, premiered at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival and will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.

Paramount Music has released a second soundtrack album for the On the Come Up. The album features the film’s original score composed by Daniel Wohl (Project Blue Book, The Weekend Away, Search Party, The Stand In, They’ll Love Me When I’m Dead). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the movie in September. On the Come Up is directed by Sanaa Lathan and stars Jamila C. Gray, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Lil Yachty, Mike Epps, Justin Martin, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Titus Makin, GaTa, Michael Cooper Jr., Lathan herself,and Cliff “Method Man” Smith.

Morgan Kibby (aka White Sea) (Mothering Sunday, Girls on the Sun, Grand Army) and Daniel Wohl (Project Blue Book, Search Party, The Stand In, The Weekend Away) are the composers of the new AMC original anthology series Tales of the Walking Dead. The show consists of six one-hour standalone episodes focused on both new and established characters within the walker apocalypse. Kibby has scored the first, second and fifth episode (Evie/Joe, Blair/Gina & Amy/Dr. Everett) and Wohl has composed the music for the third, fourth and sixth episode (Dee, Davon, La Dona).

Daniel Wohl (Project Blue Book, Search Party, The Weekend Away, The Stand In, They’ll Love Me When I’m Dead) has recently been scoring the upcoming drama On the Come Up. The film marks the directorial debut of actress Sanaa Lathan and stars Jamila C. Gray, Lathan herself, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Lil Yachty, Method Man, Mike Epps, GaTa, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Titus Makin Jr. and Michael Anthony Cooper Jr. The movie is based on the best-selling YA novel by Angie Thomas (The Hate U Give) and follows a young black girl who attempts to take the battle rap scene by storm in order to do right by the legacy of her father and to help her family climb out of poverty.
