‘Paul McCartney: Man on the Run’ Soundtrack Album Details
Capitol Records will release a soundtrack album for the documentary Paul McCartney: Man on the Run. The album features many of the key recordings from the film, including deep cuts and fan favorites from McCartney’s post-Beatles career, as well as the previously unreleased tracks Live and Let Die (Rockshow), Gotta Sing Gotta Dance and Arrow Through Me (Rough Mix). The film is narrated by Jodie Foster and centers on the year 1975 as America faced social and political upheaval and filmmakers turned chaos into art. The movie explores how a turbulent era gave rise to iconic movies such as One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Taxi Driver and Network.

The track list of the soundtrack album for the animated documentary Piece by Piece has been revealed. The album features the original songs from the film written and performed by the project’s subject Pharrelll Williams, including the original title track (feat. Princess Anne High School Fabulous Marching Cavaliers), which is already available now as a digital single, It’s Happening & L’EGO Odyssey (both co-written with Shelly Berg), Virginia Boy and the closing credit song For Real. Also included are some of the artist’s greatest hits such as Happy from Despicable Me 2, Daft Punk’s Get Lucky, Justin Timberlake’s Señorita, No Doubt’s Hella Good, Jay-Z’s I Just Wanna Love U & more.
