Grande Ourse has released a soundtrack album for the French thriller The Money Maker (L’affaire Bojarski). The album features the film’s original music composed by Mathieu Lamboley (Lupin, Cassandra, Lolo, The Rosemaker, Between Two Worlds, Sisters in Arms, The Last Mercenary, A Minuscule Adventure). The Money Maker is directed by Jean-Paul Salomé and stars Reda Kateb, Sara Giraudeau, Bastien Bouillon and Pierre Lottin. The movie is set in post-war France and tells the story of a real-life Polish refugee who became the most ingenious counterfeiter of his time when he secretly produced near-perfect banknotes in his own backyard.

‘Arsène Lupin’ 20th Anniversary Expanded Edition Soundtrack Album Announced
Music Box Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 2004 French adventure crime movie Arsène Lupin co-written and directed by Jean-Paul Salomé and starring Romain Duris, Kristin Scott Thomas, Pascal Greggory, Eva Green, Robin Renucci and Patrick Toomey. The 2-CD set features the remastered expanded original score from the film composed, orchestrated and conducted by Debbie Wiseman (Wilde, Wolf Hall, Dickensian, Vampire Killers, Haunted, Father Brown, Flood) and performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Crouch End Festival Chorus, including around an hour of previously unreleased music. The 20th Anniversary soundtrack is limited to 500 copies and now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the release.
Bruno Coulais to Score Jean-Paul Salome’s ‘La Daronne’
Bruno Coulais is attached to score the upcoming French crime comedy La Daronne. The film is directed by Jean-Paul Salome (Adventures of Arsene Lupin) and stars Isabelle Huppert. The movie is based on Hannelore Cayre’s novel of the same title and follows a French-Arabic translator working for the anti-drug squad in Paris. Salome and Cayre co-wrote the screenplay. Kristina Larsen (Farewell, My Queen, Diary of a Chambermaid) is producing the project for Les Films du Lendemain, alongside Jean-Baptiste Dupont (Point Blank, Me, Myself and Mum) for La Boetie Films.
