Varese Sarabande will release a new soundtrack album for the 1995 fantasy drama A Little Princess directed by Alfonso Cuarón and starring Eleanor Bron, Liam Cunningham, Liesel Matthews, Vanessa Lee Chester, Arthur Malet, Rusty Schwimmer and Errol Sitahal. The deluxe edition album features the film’s expanded original score composed by Academy Award nominee Patrick Doyle (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Sense and Sensibility, Cinderella, Thor, Brave, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Murder on the Orient Express, Henry V, Carlito’s Way, Gosford Park), including previously unreleased music. Official Coronation Album Released
Decca Classics has released the official album of The Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III & Queen Camilla. The album produced by Anna Barry features all the music from the historic ceremony recorded this past Saturday, May 6, at Westminster Abbey, including the newly composed pieces of music (six orchestral commissions, five choral commissions and one organ commission). Among the the commissions are pieces by film/TV composers Patrick Doyle (Sense and Sensibility, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Cinderella, Henry V), Debbie Wiseman (Wilde, Wolf Hall, Vampire Killers, Adventures of Arsene Lupin) and Nigel Hess (Maigret, Ladies in Lavender).

The full details of the soundtrack album for Disney’s fantasy adventure Artemis Fowl have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Patrick Doyle (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Thor, Cinderella, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Brave, Sense and Sensibility, Murder on the Orient Express). The soundtrack will released digitally tomorrow, June 12 by Walt Disney Records and will be available to stream/download here. Artemis Fowl is directed by Kenneth Branagh and stars Ferdia Shaw, Lara McDonnell, Josh Gad, Tamara Smart, Nonso Anozie, Josh McGuire, Nikesh Patel, Adrian Scarborough and Miranda Raison, as well as Colin Farrell and Judi Dench. The movie is based on the book of the same title by Eoin Colfer and follows the journey of a 12-year-old genius, a descendant of a long line of criminal masterminds, as he seeks to find his father who has mysteriously disappeared.

Patrick Doyle to Score Declaration of Arbroath Documentary
Scottish newspaper The National is reporting that Academy Award nominee Patrick Doyle (Thor, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Cinderella, Brave, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Sense and Sensibility, Gosford Park, Murder on the Orient Express) is scoring a documentary about the Declaration of Arbroath, the letter submitted to Pope John XXII in 1320 that set out to confirm Scotland’s status as an independent, sovereign state. The movie, which has the working title Declaration, will feature appearances by historians Fiona Watson & Tom Turpie, broadcasters Billy Kay & Alistair Heather and author Andrew Redmond Barr. The film is being produced by the National columnist Lesley Riddoch and filmmaker Charlie Stuart.

‘All Is True’ Soundtrack Details
Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for Kenneth Branagh’s drama All Is True. The album features the film’s original music composed by Patrick Doyle (Thor, Brave, Murder on the Orient Express, Sense and Sensibility, Rise of the Planet of the Apes), including the end credits song Fear No More performed by Abigail Doyle. The soundtrack will be released on February 8 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. All Is True starring Branagh, Judi Dench and Ian McKellen is set in 1613 and follows William Shakespeare as he returns to Stratford after his renowned Globe Theatre burns to the ground, where he must face a troubled past and a neglected family.
