Air-Edel has announced a duo of compilation albums entitled Fresh Air… Breathe In and Fresh Air… Breathe Out through their label Besant Hall Records. The album features music from Air-Edel’s worldwide roster of composers and artists, including Patrick Doyle (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Thor, Cinderella), Dario Marianelli (Atonement, Pride and Prejudice), Cliff Eidelman (Star Trek: The Undiscovered Country, Christopher Columbus: The Discovery), Lisa Gerrard (Gladiator, Whale Rider), Drum & Lace (Dickinson, Good Girls), Michael J. McEvoy (Finding Your Feet, Me and Orson Welles), James T. Sale (Saint Judy, Return to Zero), Ben Bartlett (Walking with Dinosaurs) among others, and consist of both pre-existing, unreleased tracks and new works composed specifically for the albums, which were created in response to the current COVID-19 pandemic. James T. Sale’s ‘Saint Judy’ & ‘Sister Cities’ Scores to Be Released
Air-Edel Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for Sean Hanish’s drama Saint Judy starring Michelle Monaghan, Leem Lubany, Common, Alfred Molina, Alfre Woodard, Peter Krause, Ben Schnetzer & Gabriel Bateman, as well for the 2016 Lifetime movie Sister Cities starring Stana Katic, Jess Weixler, Michelle Trachtenberg, Troian Bellisario, Jacki Weaver & Alfred Molina. Both scores are composed by James T. Sale (Acts of Violence, The Haunting of Molly Hartley) and will be released digitally this coming Friday, July 5. Two new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the comedy A Madea Family Funeral written, directed and produced by Tyler Perry who also stars in the movie with Cassi Davis and Patrice Lovely. Philip White (Boo 2! A Madea Halloween, Nobody’s Fool) has composed the film’s original score and Christopher Lennertz (Ride Along, Horrible Bosses, Lost in Space, Baywatch) has written the themes. Also opening wide is the psychological thriller Greta directed by Neil Jordan and starring Isabelle Huppert, Chloë Grace Moretz, Maika Monroe, Colm Feore and Stephen Rea. The film’s original music is composed by Javier Navarrete (Pan’s Labyrinth, Wrath of the Titans, The Devil’s Backbone). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as songs by Julie London, Lucienne Delye, St. Vincent & others. Opening in most theaters is the family movie Paddington 2 directed by Paul King and starring Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Hugh Grant, Brendan Gleeson, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Imelda Staunton and Ben Whishaw. The film’s original score is composed by Dario Marianelli (Atonement, Pride and Prejudice, Kubo and the Two Strings, Darkest Hour). Also opening wide is the thriller The Commuter directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and starring Liam Neeson, Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Jonathan Banks, Elizabeth McGovern and Sam Neill. Roque Banos (Don’t Breathe, Evil Dead, The Machinist, Risen, Oldboy, Sexy Beast) has composed the film’s original music. Premiering tonight is the new Fox comedy Son of Zorn created by Reed Agnew & Eli Jorne and starring Johnny Pemberton, Cheryl Hines, Tim Meadows, as well as Jason Sudeikis as the voice of Zorn. The show’s original music is composed by Leo Birenberg (Red Army, Big Time in Hollywood, FL). Also premiering tonight in the U.S. is the television movie Churchill’s Secret directed by Charles Sturridge and starring Michael Gambon, Lindsay Duncan, Romola Garai, Matthew Macfayden, Bill Paterson, Daisy Lewis, Tara Fitzgerald, James Wilby and Rachel Stirling. Adrian Johnston (Becoming Jane, Kinky Boots, Brideshead Revisited) has composed the film’s original music. The drama premiered in the UK earlier this year on ITV and premieres in the U.S. on PBS. ‘Return to Zero’ Soundtrack Released
A soundtrack album has been released for the drama Return to Zero. The album features the film’s original music composed by James T. Sale. Also included is the song Forget the Fall performed by cast members Minnie Driver & Paul Adelstein, as well as songs by Mika Ben Yami and Thunerdikk. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon. Audio clips are embedded below. Return to Zero is written and directed by Sean Hanish and stars Minnie Driver, Paul Adelstein, Alfred Molina, Kathy Baker, Connie Nielsen, Andrea Anders and Sarah Jones. The movie is based on a true story and follows a couple who are devastated and break up after enduring a stillbirth but wind up reuniting when the wife becomes pregnant again. The drama will premiere this Saturday, May 17, on Lifetime.

Premiering tonight on Showtime is the horror drama Penny Dreadful created by John Logan, executive produced by Sam Mendes & Pippa Harris and starring Eva Green, Josh Hartnett, Timothy Dalton, Reeve Carney, Rory Kinnear, Harry Treadaway, Billie Piper and Danny Sapani. The show’s original score is composed by Golden Globe nominee Abel Korzeniowski (A Single Man, W.E., Romeo & Juliet).
