Air-Edel has announced a duo of compilation albums entitled Fresh Air… Breathe In and Fresh Air… Breathe Out through their label Besant Hall Records. The album features music from Air-Edel’s worldwide roster of composers and artists, including Patrick Doyle (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Thor, Cinderella), Dario Marianelli (Atonement, Pride and Prejudice), Cliff Eidelman (Star Trek: The Undiscovered Country, Christopher Columbus: The Discovery), Lisa Gerrard (Gladiator, Whale Rider), Drum & Lace (Dickinson, Good Girls), Michael J. McEvoy (Finding Your Feet, Me and Orson Welles), James T. Sale (Saint Judy, Return to Zero), Ben Bartlett (Walking with Dinosaurs) among others, and consist of both pre-existing, unreleased tracks and new works composed specifically for the albums, which were created in response to the current COVID-19 pandemic. ‘Let Me Go’ Soundtrack Announced
Bella Union will release a soundtrack album for the British drama Let Me Go. The album features the film’s original music composed by Radiohead drummer Philip Selway who is making his film scoring debut on the project. The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 15 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A CD version is set to come out on October 27. Let Me Go is written and directed by Polly Steele and stars Juliet Stevenson, Jodhi May, Lucy Boynton, Karin Bertling, Stanley Weber, Eva Magyar, Simona Hughes and Elizabeth Webster.
Radiohead’s Philip Selway to Score ‘Let Me Go’
Radiohead drummer Philip Selway is set to make his film scoring debut on the upcoming British drama Let Me Go. The film is written and directed by Polly Steele and stars Juliet Stevenson, Jodhi May, Lucy Boynton, Karin Bertling, Stanley Weber, Eva Magyar, Simona Hughes and Elizabeth Webster. The movie is based on the memoirs of Helga Schneider and centers on four generations of women from the same family who suffer from a trauma created over 70 years ago during the darkest period of World War II. David Broder is producing the project with Lizzie Pickering.
