The film is directed by John Madden (Shakespeare in Love, Quills) and stars Rhys Ifans, Laura Linney, Monica Dolan and Rory Kinnear. The movie explores the relationship between the deputy head of a primary school and composer and single mother of two daughters who are confronted with a diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease.

Nami Melumad Scoring Pixar Short ‘Loving Dory’
Pixar producer Mary Alice Drumm announced at Disney/Pixar’s presentation at the Annecy International Film Festival today that Nami Melumad (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds & Prodigy, Thor: Love and Thunder, An American Pickle, Absentia, One Fast Move, The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window).is scoring the studio’s upcoming short Loving Dory. Thomas Newman (who scored both the original 2003 Finding Nemo and its 2016 sequel Finding Dory, as well as Pixar’s Wall-E and Elemental) is is executive producing the score for the film, which is directed by Lou Hamou-Lhadj (Borrowed Time, Win or Lose) and stars Ellen DeGeneres who returns to voice the title character who falls in love with a plastic bag floating through the sea that she mistakes for a jellyfish.

La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 2015 James Bond movie Spectre directed by Sam Mendes and starring Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear, Léa Seydoux, Naomie Harris, Christoph Waltz, David Bautista, Monica Bellucci and Andrew Scott. The 10th Anniversary Expanded Edition album features the remastered and expanded original score from the film composed and conducted by Academy Award nominee Thomas Newman (The Shawshank Redemption, American Beauty, Finding Nemo, Skyfall, Wall-E, Meet Joe Black, Road to Perdition, The Horse Whisperer) , including previously unreleased music, as well as an alternate cue and a source cue. Director Shawn Levy (Deadpool vs. Wolverine, Night at the Museum) has revealed in a recent interview on the On Film…With Kevin McCarthy podcast that Thomas Newman (The Shawshank Redemption, American Beauty, Finding Nemo, 1917, Skyfall, Road to Perdition, Wall-E, Bridge of Spies) is set to compose the music for the upcoming feature Star Wars: Starfighter. The film is directed by Levy and stars Ryan Gosling, Flynn Gray, Matt Smith, Mia Goth, Simon Bird, Aaron Pierre, Jamael Westman, Daniel Ings & Amy Adams. The movie will take place five years after the events of 2019’s Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker. No plot details have been announced yet.
