Milan Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Prime Video original series Outer Range. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Wendy & Lisa (Heroes, Dangerous Minds, Nurse Jackie, Crossing Jordan, True Story, Firefly Lane). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 16 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also check out the composers’ first track (One Night in the West Pasture) below. The label has previously released an album featuring Danny Bensi’s & Saunder Jurriaans’ score from the first season back in 2022. Outer Range is created by Brian Watkins and stars Josh Brolin, Imogen Poots, Lewis Pullman, Lili Taylor,Tamara Podemski, Shaun Sipos, Tom Pelphrey, Isabel Arraiza, Noah Reid and Olive Abercrombie.

The duo has composed the original music for the second season of the show created by Brian Watkins and starring Josh Brolin, Imogen Poots, Lili Taylor, Lewis Pullman, Tamara Podemski, Tom Pelphrey, Shaun Sipos, Noah Reid, Isabel Arraiza and Olive Abercrombie. The new season of the mystery drama follows Royal and his wife Cecelia as they struggle to keep their family together in the aftermath of their granddaughter’s sudden disappearance.

Wendy Melvoin & Lisa Coleman (Heroes, Dangerous Minds, Crossing Jordan, Nurse Jackie, Firefly Lane, True Story) are scoring the new Prime Video original adult animated series The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy. The show is created by Cirocco Dunlap and features the voices of Stephanie Hsu, Keke Palmer, Maya Rudolph, Natasha Lyonne, Kieran Culkin and Sam Smith. The animated comedy follows two best friends, aliens and intergalactically renowned surgeons as they tackle anxiety-eating parasites, illegal time loops, and deep-space STIs.
Netflix’s ‘True Story’ to Feature Original Score by Wendy & Lisa
Wendy Melvoin & Lisa Coleman (Heroes, Dangerous Minds, Nurse Jackie, Crossing Jordan)are the composers of the new Netflix limited series True Story. The show is created by Eric Newman (Narcos, Children of Men, Dawn of the Dead) and stars Kevin Hart, Wesley Snipes, Tawny Newsome, Theo Rossi, Will Catlett, Paul, Adelstein, Ash Santos, John Ales, Chris Diamantopoulos, Lauren London and Billy Zane. The 7-part drama follows a world-famous comedian who desperately searches for a way out after a night in Philadelphia with his brother threatens to sabotage more than his success.

Royal (Easy A, Recovery Road) and stars Olivia Holt, Chiara Aurelia, Froy Gutierrez, Harley Quinn Smith, Michael Landes, Allius Barnes, Blake Lee and Brooklyn Sudano. The drama takes place over three summers in the 90s when a beautiful and popular teen goes missing, and follows a seemingly unrelated girl who transforms from a sweet and awkward outlier to the most popular girl in town, eventually becoming the most despised person in America.

The 5-part drama, which centers on an indomitable, young slave who works on a sugarcane plantation with her detestable mistress, premiered in the UK in 2018 on BBC One and is making its domestic debut as part of PBS’ Masterpiece series.
Premiering in the U.S. tomorrow, February 1, is the Scandinavian limited series The Investigation directed by Tobias Lindholm and starring Søren Malling, Pilou Asbæk, Pernilla August, Rolf Lassgård, Laura Christensen, Anders Juul, Henrik Birch, Hans Henrik Clemensen, Dulfi Al-Jabouri and Charlotte Munck. Rune Tonsgaard Sørensen (Before the Frost) has composed the show’s original music. The 6-part drama, which explores the complex real-life investigation surrounding the 2017 murder of Swedish journalist Kim Wall, one of the most notorious criminal cases in Danish media history, is making its U.S. debut on HBO and will also be available to stream on HBO Max.

Wendy & Lisa Scoring Amy Poehler’s ‘Wine Country’
Wendy & Lisa (aka Wendy Melvoin & Lisa Coleman) (Heroes, Nurse Jackie, Dangerous Minds) have composed the original score for the upcoming Netflix original movie Wine Country. The film marks the feature directorial debut of actress Amy Poehler who also stars in the movie alongside Maya Rudolph, Ana Gasteyer, Rachel Dratch, Paula Pell, Emily Spivey and Tina Fey.. The comedy revolves around a group of longtime girlfriends who go to Napa for the weekend to celebrate their friend’s 50th birthday, when tensions from the past boil over.
