Netflix Music will release a new soundtrack album for the streamer’s original series Ginny & Georgia. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s third season composed by Lili Haydn (DriverX, Strip Down, Rise Up) & Ben Bromfield (Oddballs, The Boss Baby: Back in Business). Also included are four songs from the drama performed members of the comedy drama’s cast. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 5 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the first score track and all the songs below. The label has previously two albums featuring music from Season 1 back in 2021 and Season 2 in 2023. Node Records has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Split at the Root. The album features the film’s original music composed by Lili Haydn (Ginny & Georgia, DriverX, Strip Down, Rise Up, The House That Jack Built, Broken Kingdom). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Split at the Root is directed by Linda Goldstein Knowlton, executive produced by Rosario Dawson and follows the emotional journey of mothers separated from their children at the U.S. border and the grassroots initiative that, against all odds, reunites those families.

As previously reported, a first song from the dramedy was released last month. Premiering tomorrow, March 1, is the NBC mystery drama Debris created by J.H. Wyman and starring Jonathan Tucker, Riann Steele, Norbert Leo Butz and Scroobius Pip. The show’s original music is composed by Raney Shockne (Queen of the South, Anger Management, The To Do List, Kevin Can Wait, The Wedding Year). The series, which revolves around a secretive international agency that is tasked with the mystery of a wreckage that starts falling from the sky, will air every Monday night on NBC. Adam Peters (Savages, Icarus, Snowden, Sand Castle, The Dissident) has composed the film’s original score. Premiering in the U.S. tonight is the British mini-series The Long Song created by Andrea Levy, directed by Mahalia Belo and starring Tamara Lawrance, Hayley Atwell, Jack Lowden, Jordan Bolger, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Gordon Brown, Ayesha Antoine, Leo Bill, Sir Lenny Henry and Madeleine Mantock. The show’s original music is written by late composer Jonathan Rhys Hill (The Trial of Christine Keeler). The 5-part drama, which centers on an indomitable, young slave who works on a sugarcane plantation with her detestable mistress, premiered in the UK in 2018 on BBC One and is making its domestic debut as part of PBS’ Masterpiece series.
Premiering in the U.S. tomorrow, February 1, is the Scandinavian limited series The Investigation directed by Tobias Lindholm and starring Søren Malling, Pilou Asbæk, Pernilla August, Rolf Lassgård, Laura Christensen, Anders Juul, Henrik Birch, Hans Henrik Clemensen, Dulfi Al-Jabouri and Charlotte Munck. Rune Tonsgaard Sørensen (Before the Frost) has composed the show’s original music. The 6-part drama, which explores the complex real-life investigation surrounding the 2017 murder of Swedish journalist Kim Wall, one of the most notorious criminal cases in Danish media history, is making its U.S. debut on HBO and will also be available to stream on HBO Max.
Lili Haydn Scoring Michèle Ohayon’s Netflix Documentary ‘Strip Down, Rise Up’
Lili Haydn (DriverX, Broken Kingdom, The House That Jack Built, Somewhere Between) has recently scored the new Netflix original documentary Strip Down, Rise Up. The film is directed by Michèle Ohayon (Colors Straight Up, Cowboy del Amor) and focuses on a diverse and vibrant group of women who heal their trauma and body image issues through sensual movement and the art of pole dancing. The movie follows women of all walks of life, all ages and ethnic backgrounds, as they shed trauma, shame, body image, sexual abuse and other issues locked in their bodies, and embark on a journey to reclaim themselves. Ohayon is also producing the project.

The only movie opening in theaters nationwide this week is the horror thriller The Possession of Hannah Grace directed by Diederik Van Rooijen and starring Shay Mitchell, Grey Damon, Kirby Johnson and Stana Katic. ‘DriverX’ Soundtrack Announced
A soundtrack album has been announced for the indie drama DriverX. The album features the original songs and score from the film composed by Lili Haydn, as well as songs by Marvin Etzioni. The soundtrack will be released digitally on November 30 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. DriverX is written and directed by Henry Barrial and stars Patrick Fabian, Tanya Clarke, Desmin Borges, Oscar Nunez, Travis Schuldt and Melissa Fumero. The movie follows an unemployed husband and father who is desperate to find a job and signs up to drive for the popular ride-share company DriverX, leading his marriage to fray at home.
