Premiering tomorrow, October 5 is the CW drama Private Eyes West Coast created by Jennifer Kassabian & Sarah Dodd and starring Jason Priestley and Cindy Sampson. The show’s original music is composed by Shawn Pierce (Haven, Motive, Slasher, The Bridge). The spinoff to the original 2017 Private Eyes series (scored by Pierce) follows Shade & Angie as they have left behind their P.I. firm and settled into a new life on the west coast, but their new quiet life is shaken when a night out lands them at the scene of a murder. The drama just premiered in Canada earlier this week on GLOBAL and will air in the U.S. Monday nights on The CW.

Premiering on Wednesday, October 7, is the Prime Video limited series Carrie written by Mike Flanagan based on Stephen King’s debut novel and starring Summer Howell, Samantha Sloyan, Siena Agudong, Joel Oulette, Alison Thornton, Amber Midthunder, Arthur Conti, Thalia Dudek, Josie Tota and Matthew Lillard. The Newton Brothers (Daredevil: Born Again, Doctor Sleep, X-Men ’97, The House of Haunted Hill, Five Nights at Freddy’s, The Forever Purge, The Life of Chuck, The Walking Dead: World Beyond, Midnight Mass) have composed the show’s original music. The show is created by Robert & Michelle King and stars Mike Colter, Rachel Keller, Ella Stiller, Nik Dodani, Busy Phillips and Reneé Elise Goldsberry.. The legal drama is set in the heart of Silicon Valley and follows a lawyer who is cheated out of his stock options by his former employer, a tech start-up and joins forces with another recently fired attorney to represent those taken advantage of by the tech elite and help them fight back in a high-stakes battle against the Goliaths controlling Silicon Valley.

Filmtrax/Atlantic Screen Music has released a soundtrack album for the action thriller Shelter. The album features the film’s original music composed by David Buckley (The Sandman, The Good Wife, Greenland, Nobody, Jason Bourne, The Nice Guys, Papillon, Angel Has Fallen, Nobody, The Forbidden Kingdom). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first two tracks after the jump. Shelter is directed by Ric Roman Waugh and stars Jason Statham, Bodhi Rae Breathnach, Naomi Ackie and Bill Nighy. The movie is set on a remote coastal island and follows a reclusive man who rescues a young girl from a deadly storm and must confront his turbulent past while protecting her.

The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 5. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the survival horror thriller/comedy Send Help directed by Sam Raimi and starring Rachel McAdams and Dylan O’Brien. The film’s original music is composed by Danny Elfman (Batman, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Spider-Man, Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice, Alice in Wonderland,Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Good Will Hunting, Men in Black). Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Also opening nationwide is the action thriller Shelter directed by Ric Roman Waugh and staring Jason Statham, Bodhi Rae Breathnach, Bill Nighy and Naomi Ackie. Premiering in the U.S. on Tuesday, December 30, is the British limited series Wolf written and adapted by Megan Gallagher based on Mo Hayder’s Jack Caffery novels and starring Ukweli Roach, Sacha Dhawan, Iwan Rheon, Sian Reese-Williams, Juliet Stevenson and Owen Teale. The show’s original music is composed by Chris Roe (The Salt Path, Trigger Point, Blue Jean, Bad Apples, After Love, Mission Control: The Unsung Heroes of Apollo, Lancaster). Dubois Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score back in 2023 when the 6-parter premiered in the UK on BBC One. The sequel takes place in the aftermath of a comet strike that decimated most of the earth and follows the Garrity family as they are forced to leave the safety of their bunker to traverse a shattered world in search of a new home.
