Lakeshore Records will release the official soundtrack album for the post-apocalyptic survival thriller Greenland 2: Migration. The album features the film’s original music composed by David Buckley (The Sandman, The Good Wife, Jason Bourne, Nobody, The Nice Guys, The Lincoln Lawyer, Papillon, Evil, The Forbidden Kingdom) who previously scored the 2020 original Greenland movie. The sequel takes place ten years after the events of the first installment and follows the Garrity family as they are forced to leave the safety of their bunker to traverse a shattered world in search of a new home.

David Buckley Scoring Ric Roman Waugh’s ‘Greenland 2: Migration’
David Buckley (The Sandman, The Good Wife, Papillon, Nobody, The Nice Guys, The Forbidden Kingdom, Jason Bourne) is returning to score the upcoming post-apocalyptic survival thriller Greenland 2: Migration. The film is directed by Ric Roman Waugh (Snitch, Shot Caller) and stars Gerard Butler & Morena Baccarin who reprise their roles from the original movie, as well as Roman Griffin Davis, Sophie Thompson, Amber Rose Revah, Trond Fausa Aurvåg and William Abadie. The sequel takes place in the aftermath of a comet strike that decimated most of the earth and follows the Garrity family as they are forced to leave the safety of their bunker to traverse a shattered world in search of a new home.

Opening in theaters nationwide today is the fantasy action adventure Monster Hunter written and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and stars Milla Jovovich, Tony Jaa, Tip ‘T.I.’ Harris, Diego Boneta, Meagan Good, Jin Au-Yeung, Josh Helman and Ron Perlman. The film’s original music is composed by Paul Haslinger (Underworld, Halt and Catch Fire, The Three Musketeers, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, Death Race, Crank). Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score earlier this month. Also opening wide is the thriller Fatale directed by Deon Taylor and starring Hilary Swank, Michael Ealy, Mike Colter, Danny Pino and Tyrin Turner. Geoff Zanelli (Pirates of the Caribbean:Dead Men Tell No Tales, Disturbia, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, Christopher Robin) has composed the film’s original music. The movie follows a family who fights for survival as a planet-killing comet races to Earth and make a perilous journey to their only hope for sanctuary.

Composer David Buckley (The Good Wife, The Forbidden Kingdom, Papillon, The Gifted) is reteaming with director Ric Roman Waugh on the upcoming thriller Greenland. The film starring Gerard Butler, Morena Baccarin, Scott Glenn, Andrew Bachelor and David Denman centers on one family’s fight for survival in the face of a cataclysmic natural disaster. Chris Sparling (Buried, ATM) wrote the screenplay with revisions by Mitchell LaFortune and Waugh.
