MovieScore Media will release a soundtrack album for the action comedy thriller Hostile Takeover. The album features the film’s original music composed by Kevon Cronin (Hunter Hunter, King of Killers, The Return, Small Group). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, February 27 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Hostile Takeover is directed by Michael Hamilton-Wright and stars Michael Jai White, Dawn Olivieri, Aimee Stolte, Aleks Paunovic, John Littlefield and Joel Arce. The movie follows a dedicated hitman as he faces an onslaught of assassins after the head of a New York City crime syndicate suspects him of being disloyal because he attended Workaholics Anonymous meetings.

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the action thriller The Equalizer 3 directed by Antoine Fuqua and starring Denzel Washington, Dakota Fanning, Eugenio Mastrandrea and David Denman. The film’s original music is composed by Marcelo Zarvos (Fences, Emancipation, The Affair, Wonder, Ray Donovan, The Good Shepherd). Opening in around 400 theaters today is the thriller The Good Mother directed by Miles Joris-Peyrafitte (Dreamland, As You Are) and starring Hilary Swank, Olivia Cooke, Dilone, Jack Reynor and Hopper Penn. Joris-Peyrafitte has also composed the film’s original music with Erick Slick (of the rock band Dr. Dog). No soundtrack album has been announced. Kevon Cronin Scoring Kevin Grevioux’s ‘King of Killers’
Kevon Cronin (Hunter Hunter, The Return, Small Group) has recently scored the upcoming action thriller King of Killers. The film is directed by Kevin Grevioux (Underworld, I, Frankenstein) and stars Frank Grillo, Alain Moussi, Stephen Dorff, Grevioux himself and Marie Avgeropoulos. The movie based on Grevioux’s graphic novel of the same title follows a a former hitman who is offered a $10 million contract to eliminate the world’s greatest assassin, but – after traveling to Tokyo to meet the client – discovers other professional killers have been invited as well.

Opening in theaters nationwide today is the fantasy action adventure Monster Hunter written and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and stars Milla Jovovich, Tony Jaa, Tip ‘T.I.’ Harris, Diego Boneta, Meagan Good, Jin Au-Yeung, Josh Helman and Ron Perlman. The film’s original music is composed by Paul Haslinger (Underworld, Halt and Catch Fire, The Three Musketeers, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, Death Race, Crank).
