The film is directed by Potsy Ponciroli (Old Henry, Greedy People) and stars Brandon Sklenar, Josh Lucas, Hassie Harrison, Tim Blake Nelson, Nick Searcy, Lorelei Olivia Mote, Austin Amelio, Spencer Treat Clark and Josh Duhamel. The movie follows a former follows a rodeo cowboy who takes matters into his own hands when his daughter is kidnapped for ransom and – with her devoted dog by his side – sets out to bring her home.

Soundtrack Album for National Geographic’s ‘The Rescue’ Documentary to Be Released
Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album for the documentary The Rescue. The album features the film’s original score by Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, The Trial of the Chicago 7, Birds of Prey, Steve Jobs, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Ocean’s 8, Enola Holmes). Also included is the original song Believe co-written (with Pemberton & Gary Go) and performed by Aloe Blacc. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 19 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. The Rescue is directed by Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi & Jimmy Chin (Free Solo) and chronicles the the daring rescue of twelve boys and their coach from deep inside a flooded cave in Northern Thailand in 2018.

The only movie opening nationwide this weekend is the 25th James Bond movie No Time to Die directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and starring Daniel Craig, Léa Seydoux, Rami Malek, Ben Whishaw, Christoph Waltz, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Billy Magnussen, Lashana Lynch, Ana de Armas and Ralph Fiennes. The film’s original score is composed by Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, Inception, Gladiator, The Lion King) and produced by Steve Mazzaro (The Boss Baby, The Rhythm Section). Decca Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as the title song co-written and performed by Billie Eilish last week. Opening semi-wide in a couple of hundred theaters is the supernatural horror movie Lamb co-written and directed by Valdimar Jóhannsson and starring Noomi Rapace, Hilmir Snær Gudnason, Björn Hlynur Haraldsson and Ingvar Sigurdsson. Tóti Guðnason has composed the film’s original music. Milan Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score next Friday, October 15. Anderson and stars Milla Jovovich, Tony Jaa, Tip ‘T.I.’ Harris, Diego Boneta, Meagan Good, Jin Au-Yeung, Josh Helman and Ron Perlman. The film’s original music is composed by Paul Haslinger (Underworld, Halt and Catch Fire, The Three Musketeers, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, Death Race, Crank). Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score earlier this month. The album features the film’s original music composed by Elliot Leung (Operation Red Sea, Warriors of Future). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 18 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The Rescue is directed by Dante Lam and stars Eddie Peng, Wang Yanlin, Xin Zhilei, Lan Yingying, Wang Yutian and Xu Yang. The movie centers on a group of members of a unit of the China Rescue & Salvage (CRS), a division of the Chinese Coast Guard, who are forced to overcome their personal differences to resolve a crisis.

Elliot Leung is composing the music for the upcoming Chinese action thriller The Rescue. The film is directed by Dante Lam (Operation Mekong, The Stool Pigeon, The Sniper) and stars Eddie Peng, Xin Zhilei, Wang Yanlin, Lan Yingying, Xu Yang, Li Mincheng and Wang Yutian. The movie centers on an emergency rescue operative and his pilot girlfriend, whose team find courage and camaraderie in adversity. Candy Leung is producing the project.
Bruce Broughton’s ‘The Rescue’ Score Released
Intrada Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1988 action movie The Rescue directed by Ferdinand Fairfax and starring Kevin Dillon, Ned Vaughn, Marc Price, Charles Haid, Christine Harnos, Ian Giatti and James Cromwell. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Bruce Broughton (Silverado, Young Sherlock Holmes, Rescuers Down Under). Also featured are three extra tracks, featuring a source and alternate cue.
