Atlantic Screen Music/Filmtrax has released a soundtrack album for the action thriller Fortress. The album features the film’s original music composed by Timothy Stuart Jones (aka Tim Jones) (Chuck, Human Target, Beast of Burden, Survive the Game, Hide and Seek, Backtrace, Office Uprising). Miles Bergsma (My Fiona) has contributed additional music. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Fortress is directed by James Cullen Bressack and stars Jesse Metcalfe, Bruce Willis, Chad Michael Murray, Ser’Darius Blain, Kelly Greyson and Shannen Doherty. The movie follows an ex-CIA agent and his son who are trapped in a secret compound under attack by a vengeful cyber-thief.

Timothy Stuart Jones (aka Tim Jones) (Chuck, Beast of Burden, Human Target, Hide and Seek, Office Uprising) has composed the original score for the upcoming action thriller Hot Seat. The film is directed by James Cullen Bressack (Beyond the Law, Bloodcraft) and stars Mel Gibson, Kevin Dillon, Sam Asghari and Shannen Doherty. The movie is based on a story by Leon Langford & Collin Watts and follows an ex-hacker who is forced to break into high-level banking institutions by an anonymous man who planted a bomb under his chair at his office.

The only movie opening nationwide this weekend is the 25th James Bond movie No Time to Die directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and starring Daniel Craig, Léa Seydoux, Rami Malek, Ben Whishaw, Christoph Waltz, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Billy Magnussen, Lashana Lynch, Ana de Armas and Ralph Fiennes. The film’s original score is composed by Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, Inception, Gladiator, The Lion King) and produced by Steve Mazzaro (The Boss Baby, The Rhythm Section). Decca Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as the title song co-written and performed by Billie Eilish last week. Opening semi-wide in a couple of hundred theaters is the supernatural horror movie Lamb co-written and directed by Valdimar Jóhannsson and starring Noomi Rapace, Hilmir Snær Gudnason, Björn Hlynur Haraldsson and Ingvar Sigurdsson. Tóti Guðnason has composed the film’s original music. Milan Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score next Friday, October 15. Three new movies are opening in theaters nationwide today:
Opening in most theaters is the animated feature Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey & Rodney Rothman and starring Shameik Moore, Mahershala Ali, Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfeld, Liev Schreiber and Brian Tyree Henry. The film’s original score is composed by Daniel Pemberton (Steve Jobs, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Ocean’s 8). Sony Music will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score (click here for more information). Also opening wide is the crime drama The Mule directed by Clint Eastwood who also stars in the movie alongside Bradley Cooper, Laurence Fishburne, Michael Pena, Dianne Wiest, Andy Garcia, Alison Eastwood, Taissa Farmiga and Ignacio Serricchio. Arturo Sandoval (For Love or Country: The Arturo Sandoval Story, At Middleton) has composed the film’s original score. Toby Keith has contributed an original song to the movie.
