WaterTower Music has announced the full details of the soundtrack album for the HBO Max original movie Father of the Bride. The album features Ozuna’s original song Ceremonia, which is already available as a digital single, as well as all-new recordings from Grammy Award winner Arturo Sandoval who contributes four track (three of which are performed with the film’s star, Andy Garcia, and the CineSon All Stars), Angela Alvarez’s rendition of Quiéreme Mucho and a salsa / mariachi arrangement of Get Lucky by the Mr. B Combo. Also included are two tracks from the film’s original score composed by Academy Award nominee Terence Blanchard (BlacKkKlansman, Malcolm X, Inside Man, 25th Hour, Da 5 Bloods, Perry Mason).

Three new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the action adventure Jumanji: The Next Level directed by Jake Kasdan and starromh Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Nick Jonas, Awkwafina, Danny Glover and Danny DeVito. The film’s original music is composed by Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Soldier & Civil War, X-Men: First Class, Wreck-It-Ralph). Arturo Sandoval to Score Clint Eastwood’s ‘Richard Jewell’
Composer Arturo Sandoval is reuniting with Clint Eastwood on the upcoming drama Richard Jewell. The film directed by Eastwood stars Sam Rockwell, Kathy Bates, Jon Hamm, Olivia Wilde, as well as Paul Walter Hauser in the title role. The movie tells the story of American security guard, Richard Jewell, who heroically saves thousands of lives from an exploding bomb at the 1996 Olympics, but is unjustly vilified by journalists and the press who falsely report that he was a terrorist. Billy Ray (Captain Phillips, The Hunger Games) wrote the screenplay.

Opening in most theaters is the animated feature Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey & Rodney Rothman and starring Shameik Moore, Mahershala Ali, Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfeld, Liev Schreiber and Brian Tyree Henry. The film’s original score is composed by Daniel Pemberton (Steve Jobs, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Ocean’s 8). Arturo Sandoval Scoring Clint Eastwood’s ‘The Mule’
Arturo Sandoval is composing the original score for the upcoming crime drama The Mule. The film is directed by Clint Eastwood (Unforgiven, Million Dollar Baby) who also stars in the movie alongside Bradley Cooper, Laurence Fishburne, Michael Pena, Dianne Wiest, Andy Garcia, Alison Eastwood, Taissa Farmiga, Ignacio Serricchio, Loren Dean and Eugene Cordero. The movie tells the true story of Earl Stone, a man in his 80s who signs on as a drug courier for a Mexican cartel. Nick Schenck (Gran Torino, The Judge) wrote the screenplay inspired by the New York Times Magazine article The Sinaloa Cartels’ 90-Year-Old Drug Mule by Sam Dolnick.
Arturo Sandoval Scoring Fred Wolf’s ‘Drunk Parents’
Arturo Sandoval is composing the music for the upcoming comedy Drunk Parents. The film is directed by Fred Wolf (The House Bunny, Strange Wilderness) and stars Alec Baldwin, Salma Hayek, Jim Gaffigan, Joe Manganiello, Bridget Moynahan and Ben Platt. The movie follows two drunk parents who attempt to hide their ever increasing financial difficulties from their daughter and social circle through elaborate neighborhood schemes. Wolf also co-wrote the screenplay with Peter Gaulke (Ice Age: The Meltdown, Say It Isn’t So). Robert Ogden Barnum (Margin Call, Miles Ahead) and Aaron L. Gilbert (The Birth of a Nation, A Single Shot) are producing the project.
‘At Middleton’ Soundtrack Details
Perseverance Records will release a soundtrack album for the indie romantic comedy At Middleton. The album features the film’s original music composed by jazz trumpeter Arturo Sandoval (For Love or Country: The Arturo Sandoval Story). The soundtrack will be released on September 9, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out audio clips after the jump. At Middleton is directed by Adam Rodgers and stars Andy Garcia, Vera Farmiga, Taissa Farmiga, Spencer Lofranco, Peter Riegert and Tom Skerritt. The movie follows two strangers who meet on their children’s campus tour at the idyllic Middleton College and form a relationship that develops over the course of a single day. The comedy opened in select theaters earlier this year and is now available on Blu-ray and DVD.

Varese Sarabande has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as the songs from the movie by artists including Crozet, Night Drive, Black Apples, Strange Talk and Lavender Diamond. Rolfe Kent (Sideways, Mean Girls, Election) who previously scored the Reitman’s features Thank You for Smoking, Up in the Air and Young Adult has composed the film’s original music. Warner Bros. Arturo Sandoval Scoring ‘Middleton’
Arturo Sandoval is scoring the upcoming indie romantic comedy Middleton. The marks the feature directorial debut of Adam Rodgers and stars Vera Farmiga, Andy Garcia, Taissa Farmiga, Spencer Lofranco, Peter Riegert and Tom Skerritt. The movie centers on a once-in-a-lifetime relationship that develops between two strangers over the course of a single day. Rodgers has co-written the screenplay with Glenn German who is also producing the project with Garcia and Sig Libowitz. Sandoval who is best known as a jazz trumpeter has previously scored a number of films, most notably the 2000 TV biopic For Love or Country: The Arturo Sandoval Story, in which Andy Garcia portrayed Sandoval and for which the composer received an Emmy Award. He has collaborated as a performer with film composers including Hans Zimmer (Rango) and James Newton Howard (Big Trouble). Middleton is expected to be released later this year by Anchor Bay Films.
‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’ Soundtrack Update
Since our last update on the music for the upcoming adventure sequel Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, we have learned more information about Hans Zimmer’s soundtrack for the film. The music is being recorded this week in Los Angeles and one of the featured musicians that joined the production’s team is jazz trumpet player Arturo Sandoval. Sandoval is no stranger to film music, having previously worked on the soundtrack for Mambo Kings and having scored a few projects himself, including the Award-winning TV drama For Love and Country: The Arturo Sandoval Story starring Andy Garcia. Sandoval has won an Emmy Award for his original score for the film. He also previously worked with Hans Zimmer on this year’s animated feature Rango, which has lead to their second collaboration on the fourth Pirates movie. Sandoval joins Rodrigo y Garcia in the film’s team of musicians as reported earlier this year. Also involved in Rob Marshall’s movie is composer and conductor Eric Whitacre who has co-written one of the film’s new themes according to his blog.
