The album features the film’s original music composed by Mark Mancina (Moana, Speed, Tarzan, Bad Boys, Twister, August Rush, Training Day). Also included is the original song Find a New Home written by Mancina and performed by Will Banister. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 10 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon or any other major digital music platforms. Cry Macho is directed by Clint Eastwood and stars Eastwood himself, Eduardo Minett, Natalia Traven, Dwight Yoakam, Fernanda Urrejola and Horacio Garcia-Rojas. The movie is set in 1979 and follows a one-time rodeo star and washed-up horse breeder who takes a job from an ex-boss to bring the man’s young son home from Mexico.
Expanded ‘The Eiger Sanction’ Soundtrack Album Announced
Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1975 action thriller The Eiger Sanction directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Eastwood himself, George Kennedy, Vonetta McGee and Jack Cassidy. The 2-CD set features the expanded original score from the Universal Pictures production composed and conducted by John Williams (Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jurassic Park, Jaws, Schindler’s List, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial), including the world premiere release of the complete score on the first disc and a remastered version of the original soundtrack album, as well as bonus tracks on the second disc. Arturo Sandoval to Score Clint Eastwood’s ‘Richard Jewell’
Composer Arturo Sandoval is reuniting with Clint Eastwood on the upcoming drama Richard Jewell. The film directed by Eastwood stars Sam Rockwell, Kathy Bates, Jon Hamm, Olivia Wilde, as well as Paul Walter Hauser in the title role. The movie tells the story of American security guard, Richard Jewell, who heroically saves thousands of lives from an exploding bomb at the 1996 Olympics, but is unjustly vilified by journalists and the press who falsely report that he was a terrorist. Billy Ray (Captain Phillips, The Hunger Games) wrote the screenplay.
Clint Eastwood’s ‘The Mule’ to Feature Original Song by Toby Keith
Singer/songwriter Toby Keith has written an original song for Clint Eastwood’s crime drama The Mule. The track, entitled Don’t Let the Old Man In, is written and performed by Keith and was recorded at Nashville’s Ocean Way Studio. The song, which will be featured during the film’s end scene and end titles sequence, will be released as a digital single this Friday, December 7 and will be available to download here. Christian Jacob has composed the music for the upcoming drama The 15:17 to Paris. The film is directed by Clint Eastwood and stars Anthony Sadler, Oregon National Guardsman Alek Skarlatos, and U.S. Air Force Airman First Class Spencer Stone, who all play themselves, as well as Jenna Fischer, Judy Greer, Ray Corasani, PJ Byrne, Tony Hale, Thomas Lennon, Paul-Mikél Williams and Bryce Gheisar. The movie tells the true story of three American soldiers who discover a terrorist plot on a Paris-bound train. Expected to top the weekend box office is the drama Sully directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Tom Hanks, Aaron Eckhart and Laura Linney. The film’s original music is composed by Christian Jacob and The Tierney Sutton Band. Eastwood has contributed the score’s theme and also co-wrote the end titles song Flying Home based on his theme. Christian Jacob and The Tierney Sutton Band are composing the original music for the upcoming drama Sully. The film is directed by Clint Eastwood (American Sniper, Unforgiven, Million Dollar Baby) and stars Tom Hanks, Aaron Eckhart and Laura Linney. The movie tells the true story of Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger who, in 2009, became a national hero in after he successfully executed an emergency water landing of US Airways Flight 1549 in the Hudson River. Todd Komarnicki (Perfect Stranger) has written the screenplay based on the book Highest Duty by Sullenberger and Jeffrey Zaslow. Frank Marshall (Jurassic World, The Bourne Ultimatum, Poltergeist) is producing the project with Allyn Stewart (I Dreamed of Africa) and Tim Moore.
