Premiering tomorrow, July 16, is the HBO documentary Robin Williams: Come Inside My Mind directed by Marina Zenovich about the extraordinary life and career of one of the world’s most beloved and inventive comedians. The film’s original music is composed by Adam Dorn (Kickboxer: Vengeance & Retaliation, Nobodies). The documentary premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and is premiering on HBO following a limited theatrical release this past weekend. Premiering on Thursday, July 19, is the horror comedy Office Uprising directed by Lin Oeding and starring Brenton Thwaites, Jane Levy, Karan Soni, Zachary Levi and Alan Ritchson. Tim Jones (Chuck, Human Target, Cult) has composed the film’s original music. The movie tells the the story of an underachiever working at a major weapons manufacturing firm who finds that his co-workers have been “weaponized” by a new energy drink designed for the military. The comedy is premiering in the U.S. exclusively on Crackle.

Three new movies are opening nationwide this week:

Opening in most theaters is the comedy Game Night directed by John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein and starring Jason Bateman, Rachel McAdams, Billy Magnussen, Sharon Horgan, Lamorne Morris, Kylie Bunbury, Jesse Plemons and Kyle Chandler. The film’s original music is composed by Cliff Martinez (Drive, Traffic, Contagion, Solaris, The Knick, The Neon Demon). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Check out our previous news article for the full album details.

Also opening wide is the sci-fi thriller Annihilation written and directed by Alex Garland and starring Natalie Portman, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Gina Rodgriguez, Tessa Thompson, Tuva Novotny and Oscar Isaac. Ben Salisbury & Geoff Barrow (Ex Machina, Free Fire) have composed the film’s original music. Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score. ‘Beast of Burden’ Soundtrack Details

Filmtrax will release a soundtrack album for the thriller Beast of Burden. The album features the film’s original music composed by Tim Jones (Chuck, Human Target, Cult, Bobby Z). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 23 and will be available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Beast of Burden is directed by Jesper Ganslandt and stars Daniel Radcliffe, Pablo Schreiber, Grace Gummer and Robert Wisdom. The movie centers on a pilot who runs drugs across the border and is faced with the burden of choosing between his allegiance to the Cartel, his deal with the Drug Enforcement Administration and saving his increasingly tense relationship with his wife.

Soundtrack for NBC’s ‘Chuck’ to Be Released

Varese Sarabande will release the first soundtrack album for the NBC spy comedy drama Chuck. The album features selections from the show’s original music composed by Tim Jones (Human Target, The Death and Life of Bobby Z). Also included are three songs by the cover band Jeffster feat. Jeff Barnes (played by Scott Krinsky) and Lester Patel (Vik Sahay). The soundtrack will be released on April 7, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Chuck created by Chris Fedak & Josh Schwartz and stars Zachary Levi, Yvonne Strahovski, Adam Baldwin and Joshua Gomez. The show about a twenty-something computer geek who inadvertently downloads critical government secrets into his brain aired from 2007 and 2012 on NBC.

Premiering on Tuesday, February 19 is the new CW drama Cult created by Rockne S. O’Bannon (Farscape, V) and starring Matt Davis, Jessica Lucas, Alona Tal and Robert Knepper. The series follows a journalist blogger and a production assistant, who investigate a series of mysterious disappearances that are linked to a popular television series. O’Bannon is executive producing the show with Josh Schwartz (The O.C.), Stephanie Savage (Gossip Girl) and Len Goldstein (Hart of Dixie). The drama’s original score is composed by Tim Jones who has previously scored the Schwartz-produced show Chuck, as well as the second season of Human Target.
