Don’t Panic Records has released a soundtrack album for the sci-fi series Spides. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Mario Grigorov (Precious, Shadowdancer, The Paperboy, Kill Chain, Petals on the Wind) & Steven Schwalbe. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music stores. Spides is created by Rainer Matsutani and stars Rosabell Laurenti Sellers, Falk Hentschel, Damian Hardung, Florence Kasumba, Désirée Nosbusch, Susanne Wuest and Aleksandar Jovanovic. The 8-parter is set in modern-day Berlin and follows a woman who falls into a coma after taking an unknown drug and wakes with no memory of her previous life.

Soundtrack Album for Crackle’s ‘StartUp’ Released
Madison Gate Records has released the first soundtrack album for the Crackle original series StartUp. The album features selections of the original music from the show composed by Tristan Clopet who scored the show’s second and third season. Also included is a track by Chris Hajian (The Infiltrator) who composed the music for Season 1. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. StartUp is created by Ben Ketai and stars Martin Freeman, Adam Brody, Otmara Marrero, Edi Gathegi, Karissa Montaner, Ron Perlman and Addison Timlin. The drama explores the launch of GenCoin, a potentially revolutionary idea for an unregulated digital currency, and the deadly tech war that ignites around the creation of the algorithm.

Premiering tomorrow, July 16, is the HBO documentary Robin Williams: Come Inside My Mind directed by Marina Zenovich about the extraordinary life and career of one of the world’s most beloved and inventive comedians. Premiering on Thursday, July 19, is the horror comedy Office Uprising directed by Lin Oeding and starring Brenton Thwaites, Jane Levy, Karan Soni, Zachary Levi and Alan Ritchson. Tim Jones (Chuck, Human Target, Cult) has composed the film’s original music. The movie tells the the story of an underachiever working at a major weapons manufacturing firm who finds that his co-workers have been “weaponized” by a new energy drink designed for the military. The comedy is premiering in the U.S. exclusively on Crackle.

The sci-fi thriller follows two estranged tech geniuses who reunite after the death of their mentor to devise a VR technology to extract a terrorist’s memories.

Premiering on Wednesday, March 7, in the U.S. is the crime drama series Hard Sun created by Neil Cross and starring Agyness Deyn, Jim Sturgess and Nikki Amuka-Bird. The show’s original music is composed by Neil Davidge (Unleashed, Push, Monsters: Dark Continent, Britannia, Good People). The series, which follows detective who seeks to enforce the law and protect their loved ones in a world that every day slips closer to certain destruction, premiered in January in the UK on BBC One and is making its U.S. debut on Wednesday on Hulu.
Also premiering on Wednesday is the new CW comedy drama Life Sentence created by Erin Cardillo & Richard Keith and starring Lucy Hale, Carlos PenaVega, Elliot Knight, Dylan Walsh, Gillian Vigman, Jayson Blair and Brooke Lyons. The composing duo of WAZ-Jackson (Cougar Town, Surviving Jack) is composing the show’s original music. The series follows a young woman who was diagnosed with terminal cancer and has to learn to live with the choices she made when she decided to “live like she was dying”. The film is directed by Fred Wolf (The House Bunny) and stars Charlie Sheen, Leah Remini, Finesse Mitchell, Juan Gabriel Pareja, Charlotte McKinney, Naya Rivera, Chris Mulkey, Clint Howard, Chanel Iman, Barry Shabaka Henley, Lil Rel Howery, Tiffany Haddish, Efren Ramirez and Danny Mora.
