Opening in theaters nationwide today is the spy thriller The Courier directed byDominic Cooke and starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel Brosnahan, Jessie Buckley and Merab Ninidze. The film’s original music is composed by Abel Korzeniowski (A Single Man, Penny Dreadful, Nocturnal Animals, The Nun, W.E., Romeo and Juliet).. Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Opening semi-wide in around 550 theaters is the crime thriller City of Lies directed by Brad Furman and starring Johnny Depp, Forest Whitaker, Rockmond Dunbar, Shea Whigham, Xander Berkeley, Neil Brown Jr., Wynn Everett, Louis Herthum, Toby Huss and Shamier Anderson. Chris Hajian (The Infiltrator, The Take, Woody Woodpecker, Critical Thinking) has composed the film’s original music. No soundtrack album has been announced. The only movie opening in theaters nationwide this week is the spy thriller Tenet written and directed by Christopher Nolan and starring John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Clémence Poésy, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Dimple Kapadia, Michael Caine, Kenneth Branagh and Himesh Patel. The film’s original music is composed by Ludwig Göransson (Black Panther, The Mandalorian, Creed, Community, Venom). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as Travis Scott’s original song The Plan co-written and produced by Göransson. Premiering today for a premium fee on Disney+ is the live-action film adaptation of Mulan directed by Niki Caro and starring Yifei Liu, Donnie Yen, Jason Scott Lee, Yoson An, Gong Li and Jet Li. Harry Gregson-Williams (The Chronicles of Narnia, Shrek, The Martian, Kingdom of Heaven) has composed the film’s original score. Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music, as well as an original song and a new version Reflection (written for the 1998 animated feature). Soundtrack Album for Crackle’s ‘StartUp’ Released

Madison Gate Records has released the first soundtrack album for the Crackle original series StartUp. The album features selections of the original music from the show composed by Tristan Clopet who scored the show’s second and third season. Also included is a track by Chris Hajian (The Infiltrator) who composed the music for Season 1. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. StartUp is created by Ben Ketai and stars Martin Freeman, Adam Brody, Otmara Marrero, Edi Gathegi, Karissa Montaner, Ron Perlman and Addison Timlin. The drama explores the launch of GenCoin, a potentially revolutionary idea for an unregulated digital currency, and the deadly tech war that ignites around the creation of the algorithm.

‘Woody Woodpecker’ Soundtrack Details

Back Lot Music will release the official soundtrack album for the family movie Woody Woodpecker. The album features the film’s original score composed by Chris Hajian (The Infiltrator, StartUp, First Position). Also included is Alex Geringas’ Woody Woodpecker Song, as well as tracks by Randy Crenshaw, The Kids, KNOTS & more. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, February 2, and is now available for pre-order on iTunes, where you can also listen to audio samples. Woody Woodpecker is directed by Alex Zamm (Inspector Gadget 2, The Little Rascals Save the Day) and stars Timothy Omundson, Thaila Ayala, Graham Verchere, Jordana Largy and Eric Bauza.

Chris Hajian to Score Brad Furman’s ‘LAbyrinth’

Chris Hajian is reteaming with director Brad Furman on the upcoming crime thriller LAbyrinth. The film starring Johnny Depp, Forest Whitaker, Rockmond Dunbar, Neil Brown Jr., Xander Berkeley, Shea Whigham, Wynn Everett, Toby Huss, Louis Herthum and Shamier Anderson centers on a disgraced LAPD detective, a beaten man who was unable to solve his biggest case – the murders of music icons Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G, and teams up with a reporter after nearly two decades to find out the truth. Christian Contreras wrote the screenplay based on Randall Sullivan’s book of the same title.

Dorsey, Dondré Whitfield, Timon Kyle Durrett, Nicholas L. Ashe, Greg Vaughan and Ethan Hutchison. Singer/songwriter Meshell Ndegeocello is composing the show’s original music. Two new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:

Opening in most theaters is the Ghostbusters reboot directed by Paul Feig and starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones and Chris Hemsworth. The film’s original score is composed by Theodore Shapiro (Tropic Thunder, Spy, The Devil Wears Prada) who also makes a cameo appearance in the movie. Sony Classical has released soundtrack featuring the composer’s score (click here for the full album details). RCA Records has released a separate soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie by artists including WALK THE MOON, Fall Out Boy ft. Missy Elliott, Elle King, DMX & more, as well as the track Want Some More co-written by Shapiro and performed by Beasts of Mayhem. Check out our previous article for the full album details.

‘The Infiltrator’ Score Album Announced

Lakeshore Records has announced a score album for the thriller The Infiltrator. The album features the film’s original music composed by Chris Hajian (First Position, Yonkers Joe, The Take). The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 15, 2016 and physically on July 22. Visit Amazon to pre-order the CD. The Infiltrator is directed by Brad Furman (The Lincoln Lawyer) and stars Bryan Cranston, Diane Kruger, John Leguizamo, Benjamin Bratt, Amy Ryan, Joseph Gilgun and Yul Vazquez. The movie is based on a true story and follows Federal agent Robert “Bob” Mazur as he goes deep undercover to infiltrate Pablo Escobar’s drug trafficking scene plaguing the nation in 1986 by posing as slick, money-laundering businessman.

Crackle’s ‘StartUp’ to Feature Music by Chris Hajian

Chris Hajian is scoring the upcoming Crackle original series StartUp. The show is created by Ben Ketai (The Forest) and stars Martin Freeman, Adam Brody, Edi Gathegi and Otmara Marrero. The drama is set in Miami and tells the story of a brilliant, yet controversial tech idea that gets incubated on the wrong side of the tracks by three strangers who don’t necessarily fit the mold of tech entrepreneurs. Ketai is also executive producing the Critical Content production with Andrew Marcus & Tom Forman (Limitless), Ray Ricord, Gianni Nunnari (The Departed, 300) and Shannon Gaulding.

Chris Hajian has been tapped to score the upcoming crime thriller Infiltrator. The film is directed by Brad Furman (The Lincoln Lawyer, Runner Runner) and stars Bryan Cranston, Diane Kruger, John Leguizamo, Benjamin Bratt and Amy Ryan. The movie is based on the true story of undercover agent Robert Mazur, who became a pivotal player for drug lords in the 1980s, cleaning their dirty cash. Ellen Brown Furman wrote the screenplay. Miriam Segal (Good) is producing the Good Films production with Don Sizorski.
