Simon Franglen is composing the music for the new AT&T Audience Network original series Ice. The show is written by Robert Munic (Fighting, The Cleaner) and stars Cam Gigandet, Jeremy Sisto, Ray Winstone, Judith Shekoni, Raymond Barry, Ella Thomas, Chloe East, Audrey Marie Anderson and Donald Sutherland. The crime drama follows the Green family as it plunges into the underbelly of the Los Angeles diamond trade. Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, The Equalizer, Olympus Has Fallen) has directed the first episode and is also executive producing the Entertainment One (eOne) and Fuqua Films production with Munic.

Ian Hultquist to Score DirecTV’s ‘Full Circle’ Season 3
Ian Hultquist revealed in a recent interview with Musing on Music that he is the new composer of the DirecTV original series Full Circle. He is scoring the third season of the show, which is written by Jorge Zamacona (The Last Ship, Oz) and stars Dougray Scott and Kim Raver. Season 3 centers on a sex scandal that threatens to destroy a Presidential candidate and stop his almost certain election. Nick Hamm (Rogue) directing and executive producing the Momentum TV production. Jeff Cardoni has previously scored the show’s first season written by Neil LaBute and Craig Marks scored the second season written by Keith Huff.
‘Rogue’ Season 2 Soundtrack Released
Entertainment One TV has released a new soundtrack album for the DirecTV original series Rogue. The album features selections from the original score of the show’s second season composed by Jeff Toyne (Dirty Girl, Blooded). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring the composer’s music from the first season. Rogue is created by Matthew Parkhill and stars Thandie Newton, Sarah Jeffrey and Cole Hauser.
Jeff Toyne to Score DirecTV’s ‘You Me Her’
Jeff Toyne has been tapped to score the upcoming DirecTV original series You Me Her. The show is created by John Scott Shepherd (Life or Something Like It, Joe Somebody) and stars Greg Poehler, Rachel Blanchard, Melanie Papalia & Priscilla Faia. The comedy is inspired by a Playboy Magazine article Sugar on Top by John H. Richardson and centers on the complex dealings and interactions of a group of individuals involved in a three-way relationship. Shepherd is also executive producing the eOne production with Peter Jaysen (Fired Up!), Alan Gasmer (Vikings), Bart Peters, Chris Long, John Morayniss, Armand Leo, and Jocelyn Hamilton.

Premiering tonight is the new Fox comedy Mulaney produced by Lorne Michaels (30 Rock) and created by John Mulaney who also stars in the series alongside Seaton Smith, Nasim Pedrad, Martin Short, Elliott Gould and Zack Pearlman. The show’s original score is composed by Matter Music (The New Adventures of Old Christine, Better with You, Friend with Benefits). Mulaney follows a 29-year old rising stand-up comic who is trying to take his career to the next level. The comedy will air every Sunday night on Fox. Premiering on Tuesday, October 7, is the new CW superhero drama The Flash based on the DC Comic and starring Grant Gustin, Jesse L. Martin, Candice Patton, Tom Kavanagh, Danielle Panabaker, Rick Cosnett and Carlos Valdes. The show’s original music is composed by Blake Neely (The Mentalist, Resurrection, The Pacific, Life as We Know It) who is also scoring the network’s Arrow, which is returning for a third season. Tyler Bates to Score DirecTV’s ‘Kingdom’
Tyler Bates revealed in a recent interview with We Are Movie Geeks that he is scoring the upcoming DirecTV original series Kingdom. The show is created by created by Byron Balasco and stars Frank Grillo, Nick Jonas, Jonathan Tucker, Joanna Going, Matt Lauria, Kiele Sanchez, Cynthia Stevenson, M.C. Gainey and Bryan Callen. The drama takes place in Venice, California and is set against the renegade subculture of mixed martial arts (MMA). Balscao is also executive producing the Endemol Studios production. Directors on the projects include Gary Fleder (Runaway Jury, Kiss the Girls) and Dennie Gordon (What a Girl Wants, New York Minute).
