Throttle Records will release a soundtrack album for the zombie thriller We Bury the Dead. The album features the film’s original music composed by Clark (aka Chris Clark) (Lisey’s Story, The Last Panthers, Daniel Isn’t Real, National Treasure: Kiri, In Camera, Rellik). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 2 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first two tracks below. We Bury the Dead is written and directed by Zak Hilditch and stars Daisy Ridley, Brenton Thwaites, Mark Coles Smith and Matt Whelan. The movie follows a woman who joins a body retrieval unit to help identify the dead and search for her husband after a catastrophic American military experiment results in mass casualties across Tasmania, but soon learns that some victims of the disaster are brought back to life and are dangerous for anyone in their path.

Clark to Score Apple TV+’s ‘Lisey’s Story’
Clark (aka Chris Clark) (The Last Panthers, National Treasure: Kiri, Daniel Isn’t Real, Rellik) has been hired to score the upcoming Apple TV+ original series Lisey’s Story. The show is created by Stephen King based on his 2006 novel of the same title and stars Julianne Moore, Clive Owen, Joan Allen, Dane DeHaan and Sung Kang. The 8-part limited series is based on Stephen King’s 2006 book of the same name and follows a woman two years after the death of her husband and explores a series of events that causes her to begin facing amazing realities about her husband that she had repressed and forgotten. King is writing all eight episodes of the series and is also executive producing the Bad Robot and Warner Bros. Television production with J.J. Abrams (Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Trek, Lost, Alias) and Ben Stephenson (Westworld, Castle Rock).
Clark Scoring Adam Egypt Mortimer’s ‘Daniel Isn’t Real’
Clark (aka Chris Clark) (The Last Panthers, National Treasure: Kiri, Rellik) is composing the original music for the upcoming thriller Daniel Isn’t Real. The film is directed by Adam Egypt Mortimer (Some Kind of Hate) and stars Patrick Schwarzenegger, Miles Robbins, Sasha Lane, Hannah Marks and Mary Stuart Masterson. The movie centers on a troubled college freshman who suffers a violent family trauma and resurrects his childhood imaginary friend to help him cope. Mortimer also co-wrote the screenplay with Brian DeLeeuw (Curvature).

Premiering in the U.S. today is the BBC movie The Child in Time directed by Julian Farino and starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Kelly Macdonald, Stephen Campbell Moore and Saskia Reeves. The film’s original music is composed by Adrian Johnston (Becoming Jane, Brideshead Revisited, The Strangers: Prey at Night, Kinky Boots). Also premiering tonight is the NBC television event Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert executive produced by Webber, Rice, Marc Platt, Craig Zadan & Neil Meron. Sony Masterworks Broadway will release a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the TV special written by Andrew Llyod Webber and Tim Rice and performed by John Legend, Alice Cooper, Sara Bareilles and other cast members this coming Friday.
