Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the French/Belgian body horror feature Species (Sanguine). Species is co-written and directed by Marion Le Corroller and stars Mara Taquin, Karin Viard, Kim Higelin and Sami Outalbali. The movie follows a young medical student working at an ER who is struggling to keep pace with the high-stress demands of this stressful environment and discovers her own body is undergoing disturbing changes after treating multiple patients her age with identical, unusual symptoms.

‘The Spiral’ Soundtrack Album Released
Plaza Mayor Company has released a soundtrack album for the Italian/French/Belgian thriller The Spiral (L’estranea). The album features the film’s original music composed by Rob (aka Robin Coudert) (Revenge, Maniac, Gretel & Hansel, Never Let Go, Horns, Amityville: The Awakening, Planetarium, Other People’s Children, Troy: Fall of a City). A CD and vinyl edition will also be released in France and will be available to order as an import on Amazon within the next couple of days. The Spiral is co-written and directed by Paolo Strippoli and stars Jasmine Trinca, Romana Maggiora Vergano, Adriano Giannini and Valeria Bruni Tedeschi. The movie follows a desperate mother as she confesses a series of Faustian bargains to her estranged daughter.

Opening in theaters nationwide is the post-apocalyptic horror sequel 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple directed by Nia DaCosta and starring Ralph Fiennes, Jack O’Connell, Alfie Williams, Erin Kellyman and Chi Lewis-Parry. The film’s original music is composed by Hildur Guđnadóttir (Joker, Chernobyl, Tar, A Haunting in Venice, Women Talking, The Bride!, Hedda, Sicario: Day of the Soldado). Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. The 4-part psychological thriller follows a rock music-obsessed Parisian who – after witnessing the harrowing November 13, 2015 terrorist attacks – quickly latches onto a community of survivors.

Culte is created by Matthieu Rumani & Nicolas Slomka and stars Anaide Rozam, César Domboy, Sami Outalbali, Marie Colomb, Nicolas Briançon, Jacqueline Corado, Philippe Lefebvre and David Marsais. The comedy drama is inspired by real events and follows a group of characters who had less than four months to get a new show on the air: Loft Story, a French remake of the Big Brother format, in 2001.
