Waxwork Records will release the official soundtrack album for the psychological horror thriller Never Let Go. The album features the film’s original music composed by Rob (aka Robin Coudert) (Maniac, Gretel & Hansel, Revenge, Horns, Other People’s Children, Amityville: The Awakening, Troy: Fall of a City). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 25 and will be available to stream/download here. Also listen to the first track (Opening Forest) below. A vinyl edition is also expected. Never Let Go is directed by Alexandre Aja and stars Halle Berry, Percy Daggs IV and Anthony B. Jenkins. The movie follows a mother and her twin sons who have to fight for their survival when an Evil takes over the world beyond their front doorstep and they are forced to stay connected at all times.

Weekly Film Music Roundup (September 20, 2024)
Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the animated feature Transformers One directed by Josh Cooley and starring Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Steve Buscemi, Keegan-Michael Key, Jon Hamm and Laurence Fishburne. The film’s original music is composed by Brian Tyler (The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Fast & Furious, Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Thor: The Dark World, Crazy Rich Asians, Yellowstone). Sony Classical/Milan Records have released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today (click here for the full album details). Also opening wide is the satirical body horror movie The Substance written and directed by Coralie Fargeat and starring Demi Moore, Margaret Qualley, Hugo Diego Garcia, Joseph Balderrama and Dennis Quaid. Raffertie (The Continental: From the World of John Wick, White Dragon, Bull, One Way, Zone 414) has composed the film’s original music. Composer Rob (aka Robin Coudert) (Maniac, Revenge, Gretel & Hansel, Amityville: The Awakening, Other People’s Children, Troy: Fall of a City) is reteaming with director Alexandre Aja (The Hills Have Eyes, Piranha 3D, Crawl) on the new psychological horror thriller Never Let Go. The film starring Halle Berry, Percy Daggs IV & Anthony B. Jenkins is set in a world where an evil has taken over the world beyond a mother and her twin sons’ front doorstep and follows the family as they have to stay connected at all times, even tethering themselves with ropes.
Rob & Oklou to Compose Music for Phuong Mai Nguyen’s ‘In Waves’
Composer Rob (aka Robin Coudert) (Maniac, Gretel & Hansel, Revenge, Horns, Oxygen, Troy: Fall of a City) and singer/DJ/music producer Oklou (aka Marylou Mayniel) have been tapped to write the original music for the upcoming animated feature In Waves. The film is directed by Phuong Mai Nguyen and features the voices of Lyna Khoudri, Rio Vega, Paul Kircher and Birana Ba. The movie is based on the graphic novel of the same name by AJ Dungo and tells the story of a shy high school student who falls in love with a surfer whose live starts falling apart when her illness becomes more severe.
‘Nudes’ Soundtrack Album Released
Hippocampus has released a soundtrack album for the French Prime Video original series Nudes. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Rob (aka Robin Coudert) (Maniac, Revenge, Gretel & Hansel, Horns, Oxygen, Troy: Fall of a City), Nousdeuxtheband (Madame Claude, Stella in Love) & Paul Sabin (Stalk). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Nudes is based on the Norwegian series of the same title created by Nina M. Barbosa Blad, Erika Calmeyer & Liv Joelle Barbosa Blad and stars Baptiste Masseline, Léonie Dahan-Lamort and Nelligan. The drama follows three teens who are in the midst of a life crisis and are forced to to regain control of their own lives when compromising photos spread on social media.

Rob (aka Robin Coudert) (Maniac, Gretel & Hansel, Revenge, Other People’s Children, Run Sweetheart Run, Horns) has composed the original score for the upcoming comedy drama Ex-Husbands. The film is written and directed by Noah Pritzker (Quitters) and stars Griffin Dunne, James Norton, Rosanna Arquette, Miles Heizer and Eisa Davis. The movie revolves around a New Yorker reeling from his parents’ recent divorce and his own wife leaving him, when he crashes his son’s bachelor party in Tulum and soon realizes he’s not the only family member in crisis.
‘Acid’ Soundtrack Released
Pathé Films has released a soundtrack album for the French horror thriller Acid (Acide). The album features the film’s original music composed by Rob (aka Robin Coudert) (Maniac, Revenge, Gretel & Hansel, Run Sweetheart Run, Other People’s Children, Horns). Also included is the original end credits track Futures by Saycet. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Acid is co-written and directed by Just Philippot and stars Guillaume Canet, Laetitia Dosch and Patience Munchenbach. The movie based on Philippot’s short of the same title follows a girl and her divorced parents who must join forces to confront and try to escape a climate catastrophe.
‘Big Kids’ Soundtrack Released
Hippocampus has released a soundtrack album for the French comedy drama Big Kids (Quand tu seras grand). The album features the film’s original music composed by Rob (aka Robin Coudert) (Maniac, Gretel & Hansel, Revenge, Other People’s Children, Troy: Fall of a City, Run Sweetheart Run, Horns). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. is directed by Andréa Bescond & Eric Métayer and stars Vincent Macaigne, Aïssa Maïga, Marie Gillain and Métayer himself. The movie centers on the residents of a nursing home and a group of young pupils from a nearby school who are forced to share lunch facilities while the cafeteria of the latter institution is refurbished.

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the supernatural horror movie Evil Dead Rise written and directed by Lee Cronin and starring Lily Sullivan, Alyssa Sutherland, Morgan Davies, Gabrielle Echols and Nell Fisher. The film’s original music is composed by Stephen McKeon (The Hole in the Ground, Pilgrimage, Queen & Country, Norm of the North, Rose Plays Julie). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last Friday. Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the supernatural horror thriller Run Sweetheart Run. The album features the film’s original music composed by Rob (aka Robin Coudert) (Maniac, Gretel & Hansel, Revenge, Troy: Fall of a City, Other People’s Children, Horns). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, January 27. Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the album. Run Sweetheart Run is co-written and directed by Shana Feste and stars Ella Balinska, Pilou Asbæk, Clark Gregg, Betsy Brandt, Aml Ameen, Dayo Okeniyi and Shohreh Aghdashloo. The Blumhouse production follows a single mom who – after what begins as dinner with a client – finds herself hunted by a monstrous and seemingly unstoppable assailant.
