Zeltia Montes (Bird Box Barcelona, The Good Boss, Adiós, The Wait, Sad Hill Unearthed, Traces of Sandalwood) has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish psychological thriller Salve Maria. The album features the composer’s original score from the film and is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to Montes’ end credits track after the jump. Salve Maria is co-written and directed by Mar Coll and stars Laura Weissmahr and Oriol Pla. The movie is based on the novel Mothers Don’t by Katixa Agirre and follows a promising young writer and new mother who reads that a French woman has drowned her 10-month-old twins in the bathtub and becomes obsessed with the case.

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the animated feature Transformers One directed by Josh Cooley and starring Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Steve Buscemi, Keegan-Michael Key, Jon Hamm and Laurence Fishburne. The film’s original music is composed by Brian Tyler (The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Fast & Furious, Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Thor: The Dark World, Crazy Rich Asians, Yellowstone). Sony Classical/Milan Records have released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today (click here for the full album details). Also opening wide is the satirical body horror movie The Substance written and directed by Coralie Fargeat and starring Demi Moore, Margaret Qualley, Hugo Diego Garcia, Joseph Balderrama and Dennis Quaid. The album features the film’s original music composed by Zeltia Montes (Bird Box Barcelona, The Good Boss, The Wait, Adiós, Sad Hill Unearthed, Traces of Sandalwood). Something Is About to Happen is co-written and directed by Antonio Méndez Esparza and stars Malena Alterio, Aitana Sánchez Gijón, Mariona Ribas, José Luis Torrijo and Rodrigo Poisón. The movie revolves around an unemployed woman looking for freedom in her newly-found life as a taxi driver.

The album features the composer’s original score from the film and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also check out the composer’s end credits track below. The Wait is written and directed by F. Javier Gutiérrez (Before the Fall, Rings) and stars Víctor Clavijo, Ruth Díaz and Luis Callejo. The movie is set in an eerie Andalusian countryside and tracks the macabre descent into hell of a man who suffered the tragic loss of his family.

The album features the composer’s original score from the film and is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Available separately as a digital single is the movie’s “theme” song Volar Sin Alas by Morad (listen to the track below) My Loneliness Has Wings marks the feature directorial debut of actor Mario Casas (who also co-wrote the screenplay) and stars Óscar Casas, Candela González, Farid Bechara and Francisco Boira.

Premiering on Wednesday, July 12, is the second season of the Apple TV+ original series The Afterparty created by Chris Miller & Phil Lord and starring Tiffany Haddish, Sam Richardson, Zoë Chao, John Cho, Ken Jeong, Paul Walter Hauser, Anna Konkle, Elizabeth Perkins, Poppy Liu, Jack Whitehall, Vivian Wu and Zach Woods. David Schweitzer (Emma, Our Great National Parks,Trust No One: The Hunt for the Crypto King) has joined Daniel Pemberton (who composed the music for the first season) to co-score the second season of the mystery comedy, which will be available to stream on Apple TV+.
Premiering on Thursday, July 13, is the Max limited series Full Circle written by Ed Solomon, directed by Steven Soderbergh and starring Zazie Beetz, Claire Danes, Jim Gaffigan, Timothy Olyphant, Jharrel Jerome, CCH Pounder, Adia, Phaldut Sharma, Sheyi Cole, Suzanne Savoy, Gerald Jones, Ethan Stoddard, Lucian Zanes and Dennis Quaid. The Good Boss is written and directed by Fernando León de Aranoa and stars Javier Bardem, Manolo Solo, Almudena Amor, Óscar de la Fuente, Fernando Albizu, Sonia Almarcha, Tarik Rmili, Celso Bugallo and Rafa Castejón. The movie, which has been selected as Spain’s submission in the International Feature category for next year’s Academy Awards, follows a seemingly benevolent owner of a family factory who will cross every line imaginable to win a local award for business excellence.

Adiós is co-written and directed by Paco Cabezas (Into the Badlands, Mr. Right, Rage) and stars Mario Casas, Natalia de Molina, Ruth Díaz and Carlos Bardem. The movie follows a prisoner whose daughter is killed in what looks like an accident and the policewoman covering the case to stop the father from seeking revenge.
