Madison Gate Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series The Afterparty. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s second season composed by Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into/Across the Spider-Verse, Steve Jobs, Enola Holmes, Ocean’s 8, Birds of Prey) and David Schweitzer (Emma, Our Great National Parks, Trust No One: The Hunt for the Crypto King). Also included is cast members John Cho’s, Zoë Chao’s & Poppy Liu’s cover of Doris Day’s Sentimental Journey, the cover version of Hanson’s MMMBop from this week’s episode Isabel, as well as several tracks by Ed Mitchell & Steve Morrell. Kier Lehman serves as the project’s music supervisor. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, September 1. Premiering on Wednesday, July 12, is the second season of the Apple TV+ original series The Afterparty created by Chris Miller & Phil Lord and starring Tiffany Haddish, Sam Richardson, Zoë Chao, John Cho, Ken Jeong, Paul Walter Hauser, Anna Konkle, Elizabeth Perkins, Poppy Liu, Jack Whitehall, Vivian Wu and Zach Woods. David Schweitzer (Emma, Our Great National Parks,Trust No One: The Hunt for the Crypto King) has joined Daniel Pemberton (who composed the music for the first season) to co-score the second season of the mystery comedy, which will be available to stream on Apple TV+.
Premiering on Thursday, July 13, is the Max limited series Full Circle written by Ed Solomon, directed by Steven Soderbergh and starring Zazie Beetz, Claire Danes, Jim Gaffigan, Timothy Olyphant, Jharrel Jerome, CCH Pounder, Adia, Phaldut Sharma, Sheyi Cole, Suzanne Savoy, Gerald Jones, Ethan Stoddard, Lucian Zanes and Dennis Quaid. Zack Ryan (I Smile Back, Malibu Rescue, A Christmas Prince) has composed the show’s original music. R.I.P. Xavier EP Released
In the wake of his shockingly tragic death, Milan Records has released a new EP featuring four tracks by pop music superstar Xavier, including his platinum-selling single X Marks the G Spot, as well as three new songs from the People’s Choice Award nominee’s unfinished sophomore album. The R.I.P. Xavier 4-track collection EP is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Enola Holmes, Steve Jobs, The Trial of the Chicago 7, Being the Ricardos, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Birds of Prey). Also included are two songs performed by Ben Schwartz (who stars as Yasper in the series) and a track performed by Schwartz, Sam Richardson & Jamie Demetriou. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 28 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. The Afterparty is created by Chris Miller and stars Tiffany Haddish, Zoë Chao, Richardson, Schwartz, Ilana Glazer, Dave Franco, Ike Barinholtz, Demetriou and John Early.

Hollywood Records has released a cover version of Marvin Gaye’s I Heard It Through the Grapevine produced by Santaolalla and performed by paopao for the series last month. Daniel Pemberton (Steve Jobs, Birds of Prey, The Trial of the Chicago 7, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Ocean’s 8) has composed the original score for the upcoming Apple TV+ original series The Afterparty. The show is created by Chris Miller (The LEGO Movie, 21 Jump Street, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) and stars Tiffany Haddish, Sam Richardson, Zoë Chao, Ben Schwartz, Ike Barinholtz, Ilana Glazer, Dave Franco, Jamie Demetriou and John Early. The 8-part-murder mystery comedy is set at a high school reunion afterparty, with each episode featuring a retelling of the same night told through a different character’s perspective.
