Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the action thriller Flight Risk directed by Mel Gibson and starring Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Dockery, Topher Grace, Monib Abhat and Leah Remini. The film’s original music is composed by Antonio Pinto (City of God, Nine Days, Lord of War, McFarland, USA, Amy, Self/Less, Shot CallerJoe Bell). Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the supernatural thriller Presence. The album features the film’s original music composed by Zack Ryan (Full Circle, I Smile Back, Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, Leavenworth, Malibu Rescue, A Christmas Prince, Just Add Magic). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 24 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track below. Presence is directed by Steven Soderbergh and stars Lucy Liu, Chris Sullivan, Julia Fox, Eddy Maday, Callina Liang and West Mulholland. The movie written by David Koepp revolves around a family who moves into a suburban house and becomes convinced they’re not alone.

Zack Ryan Scoring Disney’s ‘Wizards Beyond Waverly Place’

Zack Ryan (Full Circle, I Smile Back, Leavenworth, A Christmas Prince, Just Add Magic) is scoring the new Disney Channel/Disney+ original series Wizards Beyond Waverly Place. The show is based on the 2007 sitcom Wizards of Waverly Place (created by Todd Greenwald) and stars Janice LeAnn Brown, David Henrie, Max Matenko, Alkaio Thiele, Mimi Gianopulos and Taylor Cora. Selena Gomez and David Deluise will appear as guest stars in the comedy, which follows a powerful young wizard at the center of a mysterious prophecy who is sent to live in the mortal world with the only wizard teacher who can help her control her power: an adult Justin Russo.

The film starring Lucy Liu, Chris Sullivan, Julia Fox, Callina Liang, Eddy Maday and West Mulholland. The movie revolves around a family who moves into a suburban house and becomes convinced they’re not alone. David Koepp (Jurassic Park, Spider-Man) wrote the screenplay and also serves as an executive producer.

The show is executive produced by Steven Soderbergh (Traffic, Erin Brockovich, Ocean’s Eleven), Paul Pawlowski & David Check and tells the controversial true-crime story of Clint Lorance who is serving a 19-year sentence for murder at The United States Penitentiary, Leavenworth. Lorance seeks to overturn his conviction, provoking emotional debate between supporters and detractors that rises to the national stage.

Zack Ryan to Return for Netflix’s ‘A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby’

Zack Ryan is set to return as the composer of the upcoming Netflix original movie A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby. The film is directed by John Schultz (Like Mike, Aliens in the Attic) and stars Rose McIver, Ben Lamb and Alice Krige. In the third installment of the series, Amber and Prince Richard welcome another royal family to Adolvia to renew an ancient truce. Nate Atkins wrote the screenplay. Ryan (I Smile Back, Just Add Magic) has previously scored the first two parts in the series, 2017’s A Christmas Prince and last year’s A Christmas Prince: A Royal Wedding.
