Premiering tomorrow, November 26, is the Epix original documentary The Panama Papers directed by Alex Winter and produced by Bungalow Media + Entertainment, Trouper Productions and Zipper Bros. Films. Pedro Bromfman (Narcos, RoboCop, Elite Squad) has composed the film’s original music. The documentary details the unprecedented coordination of journalists from around the world working in secret, at great personal risk, to expose the largest data leak in history. The movie received an awards-qualifying theatrical release earlier this month and will air exclusively on Epix.
Premiering tomorrow, May 29, is the new ABC drama Still Star-Crossed created by Heather Mitchell, executive produced by Shonda Rhimes and starring Grant Bowler, Wade Briggs, Torrance Coombs, Dan Hildebrand, Lashana Lynch, Ebonee Noel, Medalion Rahimi, Zuleikha Robinson, Sterling Sulieman, Susan Wooldridge and Anthony Head. The show’s original music is composed by Photek who also scores the Rhimes-produced ABC drama How to Get Away with Murder. The series picks up where the famous story of Romeo and Juliet ends, charting the treachery, fight for power and ill-fated romances of the Montagues and Capulets in the wake of the young lovers’ tragic fate. Zack Ryan has composed the original score for the new Lifetime original movie Michael Jackson: Searching for Neverland. The film is directed by Dianne Houston and stars Navi in the title role, alongside Chad L. Coleman and Sam Agedoke. The movie is based on the best-selling book, Remember the Time: Protecting Michael Jackson in His Final Days, by Bill Whitfield, Javon Beard & Tanner Colby and centers on the hidden drama that took place during the last two years of the pop star’s life. Elizabeth Hunter (Jumping the Broom, The Fighting Temptations) wrote the script and Suzanne de Passe (Sister, Sister), Madison Jones, Robert Teitel (Barbershop, Men of Honor) and Peter McGuigan are executive producing the project.
