Rob (aka) (aka Robin Coudert) (Revenge, Maniac, Gretel & Hansel, Never Let Go, Horns, Amityville: The Awakening, Troy: Fall of a City) has composed the original score for the upcoming French psychological thriller A Private Life (Vie privée ). The film is directed by Rebecca Zlotowski (An Easy Girl) and stars Jodie Foster, Daniel Auteuil, Virginie Efira, Vincent Lacoste, Mathieu Amalric and Luana Bajrami. The movie follows a renowned psychiatrist who mounts a private investigation into the death of one of her patients, whom she is convinced has been murdered. Zlotowski also co-wrote the screenplay with Anne Berest and Gaëlle Mace. Frederic Jouve (Good Luck Algeria, A Violent Life) is producing the project. Rob has previously collaborated with Zlotowski on the features Other People’s Children, Planetarium, Dear Prudence & Grand Central and the TV show Savages. A Private Life is premiering tomorrow at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival and is scheduled to open in French theaters on November 26. Sony Pictures Classics has picked up domestic distribution rights.
