D-Music has released a soundtrack album for the Israeli/Italian drama Reading Lolita in Tehran. The album features the film’s original score composed by Yonatan Riklis (A Borrowed Identity, Spider in the Web, Shelter). Reading Lolita in Tehran is directed by Eran Riklis and stars Golshifteh Farahani, Zar Amir and Mina Kavani. The movie is based on the book by Azar Nafisi and follows a former professor at Tehran University who secretly gathers seven of her most committed female students to read forbidden western classics. The drama, which premiered at last year’s Rome Film Festival, was released in several European markets over the last couple of month and just opened in Israel last weekend.
